Is it normal for the a/c "drip" to be near the muffler on a 2017 2500?

??? You mean you have small amounts of water dripping out of the hole on you're muffler or resonator?
Or do you just have water dripping out from under the cab near the muffler?

When a/c is running in driveway, water drips out at muffler, not up front where it normally does with other vehicles

Pretty sure that's not from your A/C. A by-product of combustion is water, and that is why your exhaust out of the tailpipe is moist and why often times you see drips of water coming out of the muffler's weep hole or tailpipe.

Thanks for the reply. I'll double check this afternoon but when I turned A/C off there was no leak, when a/c was on it was leaking near muffler

The muffler has a hole for the condensation build up from the motor- the ac condensation build up should be dripping by cab/firewall.
