Ctd choices?

Hey. Looking to trade off my 2500 6.4 for a ctd.

I know there are 3 engine choices for the cummins.

How do u tell the difference . Is it in window sticker or. Do u have to to vin search and see engine code. Im thinking 3500.

No i dont tow or haul just want to waste money

You can tell by the transmission. The manual is the lowest power, the Aisin is the highest power, and the basic auto is in the middle. The window sticker should say Aisin, if the truck has one.

If it's a manual there should be a big stick coming out of the floor between the two front seats

...or it might say it on the window sticker

And if you raise the front, make sure it is higher than the rear, that stance is just cool lookin'.

So the manual is in a stick on the floor. Wouldn't that be hard to read when u need it.

No i won't lift it i would be dropping it by at least 6 inches so i can crawl over cigarette butts

Also depends if its a 2500 or 3500.

2500 is only offered in Manual and 68RFE 6 speed auto.

3500 is available with all 3 transmission options. manual, 68RFE and Aisin.

How heavy you are towing will tell you what option you need

Id have to look around and see if i can find a ford emblem like that. Not sure if id like that look though.
