So I'm trying to get My rig ( 2014 Ram 2500 4x4 laramie CTD ) setup to carry the 5th wheel we'll be getting later in tgis summer. So I ordered a few things to get me started.

1.Thuren 2.75 front leveling kit with trackbar and overland shocks
2. Bilstein rear shocks
3. 7 pin trailer connection for bed mounting.
4. Daystar cradles
5. Airlift 5000 ultimate kit

Problem is that Airlift told me that Daystar cradles void their warranty because they can't guarantee the bag will end up in the cradle perfectly every time. They also told me that my suspension travel will be limited to 9 inches due to that being the max the airbag can stretch. I need the airbags for sure but i also dont want the truck veing limited in travel because i will ve doing a lot of traveling in mountains and offroad from time to time. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

So if you have a warranty claim tell them you don't have the cradles

Or just buy a new bag if you have a problem, they are pretty cheap

In looking at them on you tube they mount on the bottom. When I had bags installed a few years ago on my GMC 3500 they put a spacer block on the bottom of the bags.

Yeah, I think you use some of the hardware from the airlift bottom brackets and mount the cradle to it.

Why the leveling kit? That's not going to improve your towing experience.

Just been wanting the truck leveled for quite some time now and the people that install that leveling kit say it improves the ride quality quite a bit

Sounds like you already have the airbags but I help my buddy put on a set of Total Load Control bags on his '14 2500 CTD. He put them on to help while towing his fifth wheel trailer. The bags were able to stretch enough while we put them on with the truck completely off the ground on a two post lift. The kit uses a 9" Goodyear airbag.

The airbag kits mount on the frame and then mount to the axle. By doing this , all depending on the kit and the size of the bags, it limits your suspension travel downward. With the daystar cradle you don't have to mount the bottom portion of the bag to the axle. Instead, the cradle mounts to tge axle and the bag sits inside of it and when you need maximum airbag travel, it's not stretching and ruining the bag. The maximum travel the airlift bags in my kit have is 9 inches so when you go past that it can stretch and ruin the bag.
