You got any videos of your truck without the res on it.
Can't get the video to upload for some reason.

I want to do something with mine eventually....that resonator is hideous. I think for me, I'll install a new merge, as the factory one appears to be a real restriction, a new muffler, and no resonator. I plan on running the exhaust over the axle and exit at the stock location...

Did I mention the factory resonator is hideous?

That does sound good from the cab. Was it $450 for muffler and labor total? Any way to get a video from outside the truck as you make a street pass? One last thing, part number for said muffler or is it pretty much straight forward for the 6.4 and magnaflow mufflers? Thanks.

Yes, labor and material total were $450.

I'll see if I can't get an outside video one day.

Part number for the muffler is 12589.

I tried to add to the title of thread to include "6.4 Hemi EXHAUST Thread" but didn't update in the broader thread only in my first post. Don't want people to think it is the same as the general 6.4 500 page thread. How to update the title???

Agreed with Drittal.

Thread title updated.

I will be cutting mine off before the engine cools from bringing it home !:superhack:
Don't know how the engineers thought that would look good. I can still hear the arguing from several meetings about this & of coarse $$$ won! :manos:

Thanks for the info. I checked the part number but the in/out shows 3". Aren't the 6.4s a 3.5 in/out?

Got a reply for Corsa Exhaust. Nothing coming out for the first half of 2016. But they've been "looking at the 6.4". assuming that means nothing until 2017. No word back from Mufflex about using a larger Magnaflow can for their replacement kit.

A 3" fit just fine on my truck. The stock pipe necks down just in front of the muffler:

I went with the mufflex DOD250035. I think it sounds great. I also cut my reso off and just left it dumped by the tire. I have no noticeable drone.

Any Pics, when I get my new 2016 2500 6.4L I might want to do something like that?

Here are the pics you requested. Flowmaster Original 40 series.

Bought the Magnaflow 19200 kit for $911 from Summit. 3.5" throughout with a 22" muffler and moves the resonator ahead of the axle. They offer a similar kit with dual tips. Some minor drone under load but I also have full length headers (catted).
