Man this is a wicked setup, so what do it sound like, is it any drone?

It was the first 6.4 the exhaust shop had converted to dual exhaust. No drone. Sounds really good after break in. Loud when you get on it. It will set off car alarms. My wife was backing out of our driveway when I started it next to her and she said she felt it vibrate inside her Expedition.

I have the Magnaflow 4" catback with dual tips. Sounds great, fitment was tight for sure. It actually still taps against the frame when I hit bumps and makes a noise, I've just been too lazy to fix it.

Wouldn't take much to modify it to fit a ccsb

19200 is the single tip, 15333 is the double tip, otherwise they are the identical. Don't worry about the SB/LB note, it's misleading. I have a CCSB and the kit fits perfectly.

The kit should fit either because Ram used the same exhaust for the trucks, they just added an extra length of pipe for the longer trucks. This catback is meant to bolt up to where that would or would not be either way.

I know this is a reach, but does anyone know if the exhaust for the 5.7 runs identical placement to the 6.4? I'm thinking about buying this system and just adapting the inlet size to fit the 5.7 exhaust inlet pipe.

Muffled Exhaust

Installed the mufflex with the magnaflow yesterday. Left the resonator on. Still seems pretty loud for my taste. Was really hoping for better performance and mpg's. Anybody have any experience with this system?

You want see too much as way of mileage, but maybe a little torque, I had them to cut that Y pipe that dodge install and I went with the Magnaflow Y pipe.

Mufflex/Magnaflow

Does anyone have the mufflex with the Magnaflow along with the K&N CAI? If so are you seeing any kind of gains?

I have the Mufflex with Magnaflow and a drop in k&N. No difference in performance or mileage that I can tell. I do not have the CAI but I have never had one that really made any difference anyway.

However, just the other day I cut out the resonator and welded in a pipe in its place and sounds MUCH better IMO. A slight drone now in cab but not bad at all. Can actually hear it. Before was just way too quiet unless you were tromping on it. Either way though at WOT I do not like the sound, it blats. Part to 3/4 throttle sounds like a v8 should.

Does anyone know the length of the factory muffler on the 6.4? I am wanting to cut off the resinator & put on a more performing muffler until I get enough cash to install true duels. Be nice if I could just clamp on something different temp.

Has anybody tried to simply defeat the flapper valve in the OEM muffler?

I'm hoping banks comes out with the monster exhaust. I had it on my titan and loved it.

To think of it, you can get just the banks monster muffler. I bought just the muffler from 4wheelparts. I changed the exhaust on my titan about 5 different times. I'm going to look into it. I wonder how it will sound.

What are inlet and outlet sizes on the muffler?

3.5" but with a reducer adapter you can either go down to 3" or up to 4"

If you go to larger diameter piping then you will more than likely loose some low end torque.
