idk man, i think the nearly 35s might look dinky with your 8" lift. but obviously you cant overlook all the benefits of going down in size. i just hope it doesnt look like your truck skipped leg day lol

I am not thrilled about the situation believe me, however its something that I am going to have to deal with for the time being. It's only for a few months. I fully expect my truck to look odd for awhile.

Well, definitely going to mess up the looks a bit but the up side, you will start to see the benefits of the 4.56 gearing. The only thing I wish was that the dealer had a way to program the engine and trans pcms the way that they are for 2500's with the 4.10 gearing. Suspect they are different and if so would improve overall performance and mileage. As of now, think they would have to have the vin off a 4.10 geared 2500. A request, if any of you have a 2014 with the factory 4.10 gearing, could you give me a vin #? Doubt that my dealer has sold one yet to date. All on the lot and even through 2015 have the 3.73 gearing.

Well ****, my tires aren't going to be here anytime soon so I found a set of used Michelin LTX A/T 2 in 275/65r20 that I will be picking up tomorrow afternoon. Atleast I'm not dropping the $1400 and am only spending $300 for these. They also have a ton of tread left on them. Everything that I read about the Michelins is very positive reviews, just not very aggressive tire which I won't need for my internship, just something to get me better mileage. Who know maybe I'll keep the Michelins and mount them on a seperate wheel to use for towing.

Nitto is a better tire anyway imo, hopefully you net a little gain in MPG for the sacrifice in looks...

Interesting you say that since Nitto is owned and made by Toyo.

Them being the parent company doesnt mean the tires are the same, every pair i have ever owned or had installed were complete junk. Nitto trail grapplers were the best mt tire ive ever ran. Just my experience

.. everyone has their opinion.. on a 1/2 ton and smaller all I run is

Say what u will, I ran 2 sets on my last truck.. lots of trips in the summer to deathvalley and Palm Springs and lots of trips in well below freezing weather. Also a couple of 10 minute 100mph runs across nevada desert hwys. They hooked better than most.. and cost a fraction of most... Never one issue. Loved em.

I wanted so bad to run these but the fact that have to be static balanced turned me off, I just checked to see how much shipping is and they won't even ship to me, so it wouldn't have worked anyway. Although to be fair I didn't really want them on a 2500 anyway...

Getting the michelins installed as we speak. I'll be sure to post a picture of how goofy my truck looks with this setup :waytogo:

They actually don't look that bad. Yeah they look small on that truck but I have seen worse. I think the width of your rims is saving you. I had the LTX AT2's on a few vehicles. I don't see snow here but as long as I wasn't in sloppy mud they did fine. They road like a dream and lasted forever
