Well of course the dealer won't do it here. I already am running the tires lower but that stupid light is annoying. Is there a tunner or programmer that will adjust them??

AEV is working on it for their Ram upgrades. Everybody bug them and maybe they'll get it done sooner. They call it a Procal

Mine was easy... They just totally quit on my truck. I don't have the read out in the screen or anything now. It was there one day. Gone the next

Well that's just odd. It's not hard to do, it doesn't defeat the TPMS system (which is a no no) but some dealers think anytime the touch the TPMS system they are potentially violating some Federal law. That's just stupid.

I'm not sure of a tuner or programmer available now but anything that is built will have to touch the BCM in two places to get this done.

Okay guys, I went to my dealer to get the TPMS reset with those steps and guess what?

The software has been changed and there was not a Option 'UPDATE PRESSURE THRESHOLDS'

That option was removed from the list and all you can change is tire size and brand/rating.

If I was looking at it right, Fiat/Chrysler has removed that option on purpose to stop folks from putting random numbers into their truck.

Any further update on this?

I just traded my '14 Bighorn QC for a '14 2500 Laramie and the GD TPMS' drive me nuts. What I have been reading the '14's shouldn't have an issue as long as the dealer isn't an A)(&^** and will adjust the settings.

I haven't found a local dealer that would adjust the TPMS on my 2014 2500.
It's rediculous.

Yep, not that it's a big issue for me, but my local dealer won't do it

What if we put all 4 tpms sensors inside our spare tire???

Well...1st, the sensors are part of the tire valve assembly, and 2nd there is a receiver at each wheel to read the individual sensor.

Thought the receiver was in the center of the truck? And yes they are the valve type,, thought about breaking down the spare and just tossing them inside the spare?

Or. My thought. Get a trailer tire (one like on a snowmobile trailer the 10" version) throw sensors in there and toss tire in the bed. Incase you do need the spare so they don't get broke and set off from flying around inside the tire if it's used

If you are in the Lafayette, LA area Musson Patout in New Iberia is the only dealer who would do it for me.

FWIW just dropped all 4 corners to 64psi on the '16 3500 and no lights. Checked with manual gauge not evic. ALSO, I don't know what the factory threshold is for the this model's TPMS. Does anyone know if it changes between 2 & 4wd models?

Yeah, no lights on the 3500's.

I am running my 2016 3500 4 x 4 SRW with 35 psi in the rear and 40 psi in the fronts.
Aftermarket wheels, OEM sensors, and 37" tires.

Took my '14 2500 to the dealer and they reset the pressure however once they unhooked the computer it reset back to 80 lbs. he tried an additional time while I was present. We both watched the sensor change to alert at 40 lbs and then it jumped back to 80 lbs. any info would be helpful. I'm so sick of the stupid light being on

I have come to the conclusion that our only option at this time is to trade in for a 3500.

Mine did that too until they did both step procedures described in post #1. They gotta touch both modules for this to work.
