I'm gonna call my dealer back about this also. I need to have this done and I just noticed on my tow mirrors that some of the turn signal leds are not working and one of the puddle light leds on each side is not working.
This crap is rediculous. My truck is not even 2 years old yet.

FWIW, when I had the truck in for some warranty work last week, I asked about having them lower the TPMS threshold. They said they had done it on 2500/3500s in the past, but when I picked the truck up, they said Chrysler had removed that feature and they didn't have a "pod" with old enough software to be able to do it for me. Which confirms what others have said above…

That sucks. Glad I got mine lowered before Chrysler did this! They only lowers my rear to 65 and left the front alone. I was going to have them lower both a little more since most tires I want have 65 max PSI. I know there is the 15? 20? Threshold you can go below but still didn't want or need them inflated that high.

I picked my '16 up about 2 weeks ago. Dealer wouldn't reset the TPMS, but I've been dropping the pressures a little at a time. Got the fronts down to 61 and the rears at 66. No sensor warnings, so far. Rides a lot better..

Your going to trip the fronts at 60 and the tears at 65. That's where we threw the lights on my dads 2015 at.

The threshold percentage is 20% below set PSI. That means when your rears hit 64 and your fronts hit 52 the sensor will trip.

Took mine in yesterday 3 techs tried and then came to get me to do it in front of me apparently its something to do with the RF module, Chrysler made it so you can't do this anymore. so my question is.......
how the hell do you disable the ******* module
and will it affect any other systems or throw codes in the computer if you remove it.

Chrysler satisfatcion survey

So last night I received an email regarding my satisfaction for my service appointment.

I basically said I was somewhat satisfied with my dealer only because Chrysler group has disabled the ability to change the settings.

I proceeded to blast Chrysler as a corporation stating that it should be a personal preference what the thresholds are at and if they worried about lawsuits due to improper inflation then they should have the person sign a waiver stating that they are in fact responsible for the proper inflation of their tires.

Then I lied saying that my next truck would be a Chevy hoping to spark some outrage and get them to change this back to how it was.

I'm looking forward to a response email or phone call.

I think if enough people complain we may be able to get it changed back.

I took mine in on Tuesday to have the oil changed and paint protection applied. I asked them to make the adjustment to lower the pressure settings. They initially said that wouldn't be a problem. Well I get a call mid day from the service manager stating that they can't do it anymore. I sent them the instructions from the first post on this thread and they said the scoured the scan tool for the settings and can't find them anywhere. So I guess I am stuck running 80 psi in the rears till someone comes up with a programmer to make the change.

I find it interesting that the 3500's don't have this issue and they can run what they want. I would think that the requirement to run higher pressures would be enforced on the 3500 and optional on the 2500.

Same here... Stealership has had it all day & they have been going round & round with Chrysler Tech. Support & apparently as of last month sometime Chrysler has made it to where you can't change it.:flipthebird:

Took pressure out of mine, dropped the front to 65 and rear to 60...psi light went off for the rears (not for fronts). The light stayed on til I filled them all the way back to 80psi. What a pain...and you can tell the tires don't wear properly because the outer half of the outer tread on the Transforce tires don't have any wear. That part is still black while the rest of the tread looks worn/dirty.

TPMS SHOW -- & Orange Light ON after replacing 2015 Wheels Stock @ 51k

I bought my friends 2015 2500 6.7 Steel/chrome 18" with Firestone 2757018, tires for $450 with the TPMS in them. 1K MILES NEW.

I have 51,000 miles, so I swapped the 2015 wheels for my 2015 wheels.
SAME IDENTICAL TIRES & RIMS.
85LBS AIR IN THEM WHEN HOT.

RESULT=
1= TPMS LIGHT BLINKS FOR 1 MINUTE THEN STAYS ON
2= All 4 tires show no pressure, only -- (2 dashes)
3= Been about 35-40 miles of driving so far.

What do I have to do to get the TPMS TO WORK AFTER SWAPPING OUT SAME RIMS & TIRES FOR SAME??

Are you 100% sure the sensors are still in the tires?

He said So. He said he was charged $30 per wheel for sensors for his new wheels and tires..... OH Wait, for the first 10 miles or so, I saw 90-86 for front and 86-90 for the back then the PSI went to -- for all 4 tires...

When the dealer swapped tires from a truck on the lot it took about that long before the new ones started reading. The only time they went blank like that is when I was running wheels without sensors.

My 2015 TPMS sensors went out 1 week after I got it home. Took it in and 3 out of the 4 sensors had died. Dealer replaced them and they've been good ever since. I'd take it in and have them check the sensors.

^ This, also if the sensors are fine, it could be your RFH
