Hey guys, just wanted to share my experiences so far with the Diablo trinity, and Hemifever vs canned 91 tune. First off, Sean has been excellent about communication night and day. all i have is the american thunder cat back exhaust, with flowmaster 5 inch tips but the canned 91 is def not worth the price to play. i could feel a little in the butt dyno, and 0-60 at 7.91 on a wet rainy day. however, with Seans tune, man oh man! the shifting was WAY firmer. the truck pulled a lot smoother through the first 3 gears and throttle response was way up. i havent done any 0-60 but im betting low 7 on a nice dry day, maybe better. the main reason i bought the tuner was for changing my tire size now that i have 35.6 inch STT pros. The tune was just excellent and what i needed! other mods next are Moe's 87mm throttle body, and ARH long tube headers, finished off with 4.56 gears.

That's awesome!!
One thing I am curious about is if the custome tunes address the electric pedal lag like the pedal commander does. Or if you could "stack" the pedal commander with a tune for more throttle response. I've been hearing good things about the pedal commander.

The pedal commander simply increases throttle response without adding any more power. The tuner does come with a throttle boost setting, and Hemifever can push that a step further as well if you still want more. He will ask you how sensitive you want the throttle to be when he asks for the rest of your truck info.

I have throttle boast up to 17% and it's pretty sensitive and to my liking.

Thanks Ratket for bringing up the Pedal Commander. I think, after a bunch of reading, that this may be what I was looking for. Ordered on up this morning.

I will just forego the pedal commander and get the throttle response boosted with a tune ... hopefully soon lol

A little less expensive for you with the 2014. Having to buy another ECU for the truck was a big negative for me, just not something I wanted to swap in and out for every dealer visit. I liked my 2009 Ram 1500 with the Superchips tuner, plug and play was a wonderful thing.

Good luck with the tuner!!!:favorites13:

Update: finally got the truck back, after 2 days without it! 5.5 zone radius arm lift, dual steering stabilizer. i went with 295/65/20 cooper STT pro's that measure out at 35.1 x 11.8. For the wheels, i love the spoked look, so i went with 20x10 gear big block in satin black. the truck looks great in person, and tires stick out about 2 1/2 to 3 inches.
