Depends on the price. Can you take the truck for a few hours or a day. Drive as you normally do. Get a good sense of how the truck performs.

Check the carfax service history. Doubt there will be records/receipts with it, most dealers trash them. If you like it, take it to a trusted independent mechanic for an exam before purchase.

I think the 2014 models had the transferrable 5yr/100k powertrain warranty. Although coverage would likely be based on service history depending on the issue. Hopefully it was dealer serviced. Good Luck.

Im going to ask about the 5yr/100k and any service records. It is at a local ram dealer so hopefully it is just a trade in from someone who drives alot of miles and trades in regularly. They are asking 28k was hoping to get it for like 26 otd

If it's the right price, I'd consider it, but like anything else, it depends on how the prior owner treated and took care of the truck

What trim level we talking about for $28K? If a tradesman, I would pass on that.

Agreed....I have owned several vehicles with over 100,000 miles that have been meticulously maintained and lasted a long time. I would look to see any remnants of a lot of heavy towing, as it could be a construction vehicle, and the condition of the tires (worn out or been replaced), undercarriage (rusty from mud, salt, water) and the seats (worn on the edges). I'd check the brake pads, too, as thin pads or new pads indicate a lot of heavy towing and stopping.

If it all checks out and the money is right, then I would go for it if you like the truck!! Good luck

It looks like a good price until you add the $699 "pre-delivery service fee"........and they have a $1000 penalty for paying cash or using outside financing.....I hate fine print. It looks like a nice truck.

Looks like a nice truck without seeing the undercarriage. Typical stealer BS with that $699 fee and $1k surcharge if you pay cash? That's TOTAL crap.

I'm sure they have room to move for you. I'd try to get it for $25k total out

Go buy it. If I could've found that used for 25k I'd have it instead of my new one. Especially with the bigger rims, leather and upgraded headlights.

I would say try for 25k out the door. I have the 6.4 and black appearance package and I payed 40k for mine new. Mine doesn't have the 8.4 screen, but I have the premium cluster and the center console, not the bench seat. I also have cloth seats but that doesn't look like factory leather to me, although I could be mistaken since I didn't pay much attention to the trucks with leather in them since I don't really care and my wife hates leather seats. Bottom line, 28k seems a little high to me.

It's priced at blue book so its as good as anything else, These trucks drop value pretty quick so it's probably not a bad buy at 25/26, I couldn't find the gearing on it, I would use that as a point if they are not 4:10's
