2015 Laramie 4x4, 4:10 rear, 13,000 miles and not a problem with 6.4 or anything else on the truck. Probably 1/3 of the miles were towing 7500 lbs boat.

2016 PW 22000 miles here. Had rod knock noise around 3-4000 miles but went away after first oil change and hasn't returned. My fan clutch is currently permanently engaged. It's going to dealer this week for warranty replacement. Other than that, love the truck and motor.

2014 BigHorn 4x4 3.73s with 22k on it. Bought it with 18k, not many issues with the motor. Had the 3rd brake light leak and couple small things. Overall love the truck and the motor does what it's supposed to. Now that it's tuned it's even better to drive especially with no mds

I have a 2015 Mega Cab 2500, I just turned 22,000 with no issues. So far I really like this motor.

Wow 132k already! Nice to see it being used and running well. Anything change from 50k to 100k? For those worries/complaining about oil consumption or the like, did it continue get worse stay the same?

132k here. Replaced a bad wheel bearing and idler pulley a few thousand back. It still feels/runs like a new one.

That's excellent to hear. Thanks for sharing!

Mine doesn't use any oil and it gets worked pretty hard. Over 100k of those miles is towing everything on the truck still feels new. The door pins are still tight, the mpg's haven't dropped and the steering is spot on. This is the best Ram product I've owned yet.

Just noticed this thread. I've got just under 100k on my 2014, and have had no issues other then the recalls. Currently have a pad wearing unevenly, but that's nothing I'm concerned about. Actually checking into getting a lifetime warranty if its possible still. Plan on having this one around for quite some time.

13 Months Old Still going strong at 183,000 miles

I use this truck to transport cars coast to coast and border to border. The truck as fewer than 500 miles without a trailer.

First problem at 97,000 miles. The transmission limp mode 4th gear only, tough with a full load. Replaced the transmission solenoid pack. Recall on this now.

Second problem both front wheel bearings at 130,000 miles.

Had the recall on the transmission solenoid pack done at 182,500 miles. No problems with last one.

At this point, best truck I have had in the last 20 years. All before were diesels.

The 6.4 Hemi is an amazing work horse even loaded in the Rockies.

Again 183,000 miles and runs and drives like new!

Odd?!?

I thought in the 66RFE limp mode was second and third gear while the 68RFE was 4th gear.

Also, I thought the solenoid thing wasn't recall(since it had nothing to do with safety) and was just a campaign which ussualy aren't done if the unit is out of manufacturers warranty.

Thanks for posting! Very impressive indeed. Is your truck 4x4? If so, no problems with front driveshaft? (only grease lube point on the truck)

Do you really have a 2016? At 182k, i'd bet you are the highest mile 2016 6.4L anywhere and among the highest of any 6.4L.

Please keep us updated on this thread. 200k, 250k, 300k reports etc. :favorites13:

I've been hauling screenings with my dump trailer this week. Loader guy must have been drunk yesterday and put 7.5 tons on me. After climbing out of the pit, (30 degree grade in 2wd) I scaled out at 27,500. Thank god the quarry is only 3 miles from the house. Needless to say, I was impressed. This motor never fails to deliver.
