Pros- A. Slightly better fuel economy
B. Serviceable full floating bearings
C. Being positive the front hubs are locked in.

Cons: Price. The only one I know of that makes a kit which is a very stout one is Dynatrac.

I always wanted to do them, I just never had the truck long enough to get around to it. I've seen some locally, and everyone loves the mod. If you have enough miles on the factory hubs, you can more easily justify the cost vs. replacing w/the factory setup.

I did the Yukon kit. It was expensive, but sometimes they go on sale and you save a few hundred. I went from 11mpg to 13mpg sometimes better if I keep my foot out of it. But this was on a Powerwagon too.
