Hello 3500 owners!

I just recently purchased a new 2017 RAM 1500 Sport. While looking around online, I came across a RAM engineer video that talked about AUX switches and Upfittters. In the below picture is a connector (no idea what it is called) that is connected to the fuse box on the 3500s to allow power to switches. I would like to install that piece on my 1500 fuse box then run the wire into my cab.

Any idea what the correct name and part number is?

Thanks!

They are AUX switches and part of the wiring harness. The short answer is you can't retrofit them in OEM form.

That's not true you can retro fit them. Did in my 2011. I have a wiring diagram I drew up somewhere, I'll find it and post it here for you.

The part number for the switch panel is from a 2011 not a 17, so that won't help. But I'd assume the switch panel will still be ground activated not positive, so the rest of the diagram will work for you. The other part numbers are for a relay bank, its pieced together but works great, have used this in a keep and 2 rams now and will be doing it again in my 15

Reread my post and then compare it with yours. You cannot retrofit the AUX switches in OEM form. There are ways to wire your own using the OE switch panel but it isn't an OEM retrofit.

Oh you can do it the oem way as well. It will cost you though. You can but the harnesses. My suggestion was a cheaper way. So shove that in your keyboard warrior cupcake trap!

OEM AUX switches are integral to the truck's main harness. I'm not aware of the main harnesses being available to order. It might have been different for 2010 through 2013 trucks but there is no simple OEM retrofit for 2014+ trucks. Obviously you can build your own harness but that isn't OEM.
