With the Thurmen front leveling springs coming out for the 2016 Hemi, I am going to go that route. Want to run 35x12.5's with the alum stock wheel. Hopefully there will be no rubbing.

Anybody have this set up that would like to share pictures?

Which rim, 17's, 18's or 20's?

305/70/18...roughly same as 35x12.5

See link. I get some rub on the inside of the passenger side when turned full lock right. I think it's because I am using the stock trac bar, so the axle is pulled slightly to the drivers side. Visually I can see the difference because I looked for it, otherwise you would never notice.

Yours is a great looking truck. The only one I have seen so far with the stock wheels.

Thanks. The stock wheels can look good if they are wrapped in the right tires. I never liked my stock wheels until I got these tires.

Those stick out way less than I would have thought. I have the same rims with 285s. Those are roughly equivalent to 315s and look like they stick out about the same amount as my 285s.

Nah, they dont stick out past the stock flares at all. They just barely rub at full lock. I run them at 50psi and its really a nice ride.

Ah ok, I don't have flares so they'd stick out quite a bit for me then. I may look into a 295 next time around though.

The factory flares only stick out 1" beyond the fenders

I've been looking for a beefier tire with my 3500 (DRW) but no one wants to admit that I can do it. Is it too much to ask for a tire that will still tow a camper while adding a little more?

As you can see, my 35x12.5x20s with stock wheels are a good inch inside the stock flares. Phone was not straight while taking the pic, but the level was.

While adding a little more what? If it were me, I'd just put load range "E" tires on it. They are common in all terrains and come in about any size you want. The weight will be distributed across 4 tires instead of two, which will double the total tire load capacity over a srw setup. I don't see the issue unless you are over the truck's rated max.

So really hardly anyone is running this set up? I have a 2013 Jeep JK running 35's and Eagle wheels. Drove it through the winter 2 winters ago and ended up ruining my wheels. Had to wet sand them and buff them to bring them back. Are most after market wheels not coated to protect against salt?
