Well, here she is. My wife's old Mega is gone, Not far, my brother bought it. Lol
I bought that truck for her as a surprise 2.5 years ago when she graduated and got her job. It was her baby.... unfortunately she works in the woodlands and it just got to be too big so I bought her a 4Runner, her other dream truck. I sold my little 2015 single cab chevy and took the mega. It's just too big for my commute from Conroe to Sugarland.
Now, I went in to buy a used 2016 white Sport 1500. And somehow that ^^ happened! 2017 Laramie Cummins. I hate the new diesels with all the emissions, but I figured I'd give it a shot. It'll be deleted at the first sign of a DPF or EGR issue.
Anyway, y'all have a good day and I'll get the build coming along soon! Thuren will be getting a call Monday.

Love that color, especially with the black-out. I can see how you ended up bringing it home.

I wouldn't worry about the emissions, it is all handled downstream from the engine except for the EGR which has significantly reduced percentages from what it once was. The engines are tuned for efficiency and performance, again.

I think the same as you, any issues with the emissions and I'm deleting. My problem is I think about NOX emissions and what they do in our lungs. I have grandkids and I think about the kids in the traffic behind me. If I ever do have issues with the emission system, by then it may be less expensive to fix that to delete, I'm hoping.

This is key. Here in North America, we don't hear much about it, but in Europe where they have tons of diesel vehicles, the toxic emissions are killing people every year. Sure, it might be better for the environment, but it's a lot worse for us humans.

Hi neighbor. I live in Tomball off of 2978 and 2920. I highly recommend the bd throttle sensitivity booster. Wakes the response of the truck up on the pedal. Program it to wide open and leave it there. No extra hp but I like the response. Got the thuren 2.75 kit myself and will be installing pretty soon. Enjoy that nice looking rig.

Great minds think alike...well almost (I couldn't afford the Laramie but my BH is just fine with me). Congrats my friend.

Had my 3500 CTD Sport Crew since May and loving it. Not quite the same off the line pep as the 6.4, but it does move on down the road just fine. The towing experience & at the pumps is where you'll really appreciate it. Enjoy :favorites13:

Good looking truck! I love mine. Makes driving up the mountains a breeze. Cruise control set, exhaust brake on.. never have to hit the gas going up the steep hills and never hit the brakes going down.. POWER!!!

Wow, thank all y'all. I miss the growl of the 6.4L and the instant pep. But good lord it's so nice to be back in a Cummins! I miss my old VP trucks, really miss my old 05 dually on 10 lugs. I just can't believe how nice this truck is... I'm flat in love with it.
Took the kids to the lake today, pulls a 7k pound boat like it's not even there, how I've missed that. And not having a 800ft long mega made backing it in the stall so much nicer!

Nice truck.

Although, you think it has power now. Wait until you tune it with a good custom tune. Even without adding that much power, decreasing the torque management and a good trans tune will make that truck have the power you expect it to have. It is is night and day difference versus a stock truck.
