I am going to replace my OME shocks front & rear.My truck is stock no lift kit.Trying to decide Bilstein 5100,s $356,Fox 2.0 performance $519,or Bilstein 4600,s for $316.Any advantages buying the Fox for the $$ spent? The prices listed are for all four shocks. Thanks for any input.:)

I've run a few sets of Bilsteins on my Toyotas and honestly, they kinda blow once you get past the name. I blew 2 of their high end coilovers on my Tundra, seals blew then replaced then blew again.

The guys I know with the Fox products and Icon products are very pleased with them, as they should be given the cost.

The 5100s......."meh".

Others will probably say they love them.

i just put bilsteins on my gen III 1500 and i'm not overly impressed. IDK if fox is worth the extra $ for just a daily driver at stock height, but i can tell you mine doesn't ride that much better with brand new bilsteins over the 80K mile stockers they replaced. At least not enough for me to tell you to run out and buy them.

I had Fox on my 2500 when I bought it. I changed to the Bilsteins and truck is much better.

Fox or king 2.5s if they have them. They're completely serviceable so you buy a set once and they're there forever. Just service them every 40-50,000 miles and you're good.

I purchased a set of Bilstein's (4600 series) specifically designed for the 2500 models for $332. Been very happy with them so far and definitely noticed a difference in ride quality vs. the stock stuff.

Bilstein 24-240390
Bilstein 24-239462

i flip/flopped between bils and kyb's for mine.i had kyb's on my f 150 and they were miles ahead of the stock rancho's they replaced, but i ended up drinking the bilstein kool aid.all i can say is they're better than the stock ones if you use your truck like a truck, not a car.to me the fox just scream bro truck.
