So I noticed that when driving at 40mph or faster that when I hit a bump in the road or a divet it feels like my pedals shake and I can hear them shake as well. Do you guys have the same thing?

no, does not sound normal to me. I never heard that in either my 03 SLT, or my 13 outdoorsman. they are both kinda loud trucks, I will see if I hear anything. are pedals loose?

Yep. If you crawl down and shake the accelerator pedal you will see what's loose. (from as far as I can tell it's nothing you can tighten). I am planning on going back to my dealer to question them about it and look at other trucks on their lot to see if they do it.

Do you have the power adjustable pedals? I do and am willing to bet it's just a bad design and they're all like that.

No I don't have the power adjustable pedals. It just doesn't sound normal. And the truck is so well put together its easy to hear/feel when something may not be normal. Ill have to get down there tomorrow and see if the pedals will wiggle by hand I didn't even think about doing that. If they are loose then I'm definitely taking it into the dealer

So I got under my dash and shook my brake pedal and it moves quite a bit. Its most likely the brake pedal making the noise when I go over a bump. Does everyone else's shake too?

Mine does not. At least not enough to ever notice.

Nope.

I bet it makes your brake lights flash on too.

Noticed my brake pedal starting to rattle over bumps 2-3 months back. If I stick my foot under it and put some upward pressure on it the rattle goes away. Def loose and getting worse, just need to find time to get my fat a** down there and see what's up. I'll check back when I figure it out.

I'm thinking about running it by the dealer and seeing what they say

My non-adjustable pedals don't rattle at all. I'd take it in ASAP

Yea no kidding! Luckily I know the owner of the dealership very well so if they try to jerk me around I'm walking straight into his office. But lets give them a chance and see what goes on. My AC is giving me some issues too. It took about 30 mins to get cold this morning. Its the 2nd time its done that and I don't even have 3k miles yet.

I hear ya there my 2011 1500 takes forever to get cold and forget about it getting cold just to go to the grocery store it takes forever just to get cold going on the highway but at least it will eventually, really considering looking at a newer year higher trim level kinda getting bored with the ST id prefer the laramie longhorn with all the fancy gadgets and hopefully and ac that blows harder and colder sooner

Truck is at the dealer hopefully the brake pedal is an easy fix. Also hoping the AC acts up for them so they can figure out why its taking forever to get cold. They won't have time to look at it till Saturday so we'll see

Turns out I probably have a bad bushing in the brake pedal so they ordered new parts. They'll arrive in 5-7 days so ill have to take the truck back in. They didn't find anything wrong with the AC because of course it had to work perfectly when they checked it. So I'm hoping it stops acting up for me. Glad they didn't fight me on the pedal. Overall a very pleasant experience with Richardson CJD service department
