What does everyone think about the Pedal Commander on the 6.4?

My truck lugs at low speed and I'm wondering if the PC fixes that. Also, sometimes you have to move the pedal a significant amount before the engine responds at all. This is annoying and I'm wondering if the Pedal Commander would help.

Any inputs on it are welcome.

It will improve your response. I have mine set at just City lvl. 1. Big change from stock. Good investment.

It will definitely help eliminate that lag. I've installed the Pedal Commander on 6 Power Wagons with the 6.4, and the difference was night and day...just like it has been on the 1500 5.7's.

Agreed. I have mine set to City +2 and it is just the way I think it should be.

I think I might have to get one. Rolling 35s on 20s in the 2500 with the 6.4 is waaaaay slower and less responsive then my 1500 with a 5.7 was with the same size wheels and tires. The 1500 only had 3.21s but that 8 spd trans made it fun and peppy to drive. Course it lost a little power when I put the big tires on, but still a lot more responsive then the 2500 is now with 3.73s.

I wish Chrysler would put out an HD 8 spd trans.

*** Anyone have install pics? Where did you mount it?

*** Any vendors on here have any sales on the Pedal Commander right now?

100% accurate. My truck will move off the line like a SOB now in only sport +1. Also responds instantly when cruising. Light pedal input will now move the truck effortlessly. 4.10 gears. All stock otherwise.

Love mine. Originally had it set to Sport +1 but I've gone down to City +1, gas mileage suffered due to my heavy foot it would seem. Great for getting rid of the accelerator lag and it helps keep the truck in a better gear too since the computer is receiving a higher throttle input. Definitely make driving around town much more pleasant.

I am settled on Sport +3. I also ran my cut out back to my tailpipes. Smooth and quick acceleration now.
The cut out seemed to be letting the engine breathe too much

Oh it does. It's crazy how quick it is. Has a moes throttle body and K&N intake too. It's my favorite truck so far by a long shot.

Great. Well, I guess I have to spend the money now. I don't care if the truck is quick off the line but I just hate the lugging.
