Any suggestions for the tuner // Exhaust combos to use on the 2014 6.7 3500 ?

For tuning I recommend MM3 with custom tuning from Double R Diesel. I have about 60,000 miles on my Flo Pro delete pipe and still going strong.

Going with draconian performance myself, but yeah the mm3 with trans tuning is a solid program. 4 or 5 inch, doesn't really matter too much which one. 5 is deeper, 4 a little less drone. You gonna remove the EGR, or just turn it off?

Here is my list of delete, tune & transmission mods done. You probably don't need the unlock as your PCM is open for tuning.

Delete & Tune mods:

Edge CTS-2 Insight with Cummins unlock
13 – 17 EFI Live Dodge CSP4 tune package by PPEI / Kory Willis
13 – 17 EFI Live Dodge transmission tuning
Cummins tuning switch CSP5
EGR valve and cooler removal with block off plate
Throttle valve delete
FloPro catalytic converter & DPF delete pipe, 4”
4” – 6” black exhaust tip with rolled edge
Edge expandable EGT probe kit
Pillar pod mount for Edge CTS2

Transmission mods:

BD Diesel 68RFE valve body plate kit
Mag Hytec deep transmission pan
ATS 68RFE transmission case support brace

I am still straight piped - yup, the Magnaflow was removed - and I am not sure what I will be doing there yet.

I don't believe so. I've heard the EGR can help with exhaust drone a bit, and unless one of the valves fails, it should be just fine. Now, if your going for more performance, it might be in the way of a new intake manifold or larger turbo or things like that. Also, if you decide to delete the EGR, I believe you'll want to get a coolant bypass hose so the coolant can still get back where it needs to.

My EFIbyRyan is through Hardway Performance and my exhaust is a turbo back Flo-Pro 5" with muffler and a 17" FTE resonator. The tune makes the EGR inoperable so you don't have to remove it if you want, but you must remove the DPF. If you leave the EGR intact then you will not need a resonator since the EGR cuts down a lot of the drone. If you do remove the EGR then I would get a resonator because the drone will be horrendous.

I don't have to remove the EGR, but I did notice a slight improvement in turbo response due to exhaust no longer having to flow through the EGR cooler. The other benefit of removing the EGR was that the block off plate had a tapped hole for an pyrometer so I didn't have to drill and tap a hole in the manifold to monitor EGT's.

Im running a EZ Lynk with tuning from starlite diesel. No complaints and definitly an advancement over having to have a dedicated digital gauge pod and a EFIlive tuner.
