SCR Recall

Anyone else get a recall notice for a SCR replacement on their '13 6.7? Just got home today and found one in the mailbox. Just curious as to what all is involved and what they're actually replacing. Paper says it should take 1-6 hrs.

I read about it, but said it only affected 2500???

Yeah, 2500 only and should affect mine as well. Supposed to drop the MPG about 1 or so. Think I might lose the letter in the mail and let it ride, unless it breaks on its own of course. Then they can fix it.

The guys on the Cummins forum are talking about this. Looks like 2500s from MY13 are getting the letters.

Just got the recall notice today. Still gonna keep on driving what I have since it has been error free.

I've gotten like 3 notices in the mail so far. Haven't had the time to get it down there. One stated something along the lines of voiding the warranty for neglecting to have service done if I didn't bring it in. [emoji867]

Dropped mine off this morning. Got a recall for a alternator failure possibly causing fire. Didn't want to push that one so took it in. Of coarse they're going to do both now. Haven't had any issues with the DEF up to this point, hopefully it will stay that way.

ETA: I checked the FCA site; my truck VIN does not currently list any recalls or campaigns.

Received both the scr and alt recall, dealer said they would notify me when parts where available. That was a month ago, and have heard nothing.

I have a 15 and got the recall in the mail like 2 weeks ago. Haven't made an apt and haven't had any problems. If I do it will just give a reason to delete

I took mine in and got it taken care of. Funny is I wasn't too much in a hurry then got a CEL for PE020 I think it was... and looked it up and said threshold low for SCR..

So, on Presidents day they were able to get me and got it taken care of.

Pretty happy too.

They did a trackbar recall, ABS Brake program flash, the SCR and straightened my steering wheel up as it was a little off

I just had mine done on my 14' 2500. They also had to replace the rear main seal with my truck only having almost 37000 miles. Plus i had a rear axle seal blow and it leaked grease and differential fluid everywhere.
