Dropped the truck off for alignment this morning. Hopefully he can get it done in time to make it to the tire shop before they close and get the tires on. I'll report back with pics if all goes as planned.

Are you having the alignment done to the specs Thuren suggest?

Yes. I talked to the shop yesterday and let them know it's a leveled 2500 with specific requirements on the settings. I left the printout in the truck. He sounded knowledgeable and this shop was recommended by a tech at NTB.

Incidentally, I took it to NTB on Sunday to get the alignment done and the tech there advised me that I don't want to have it done at NTB. He said their equipment wouldn't be able to get it perfect. He recommended the shop I now have the truck at. Said they are well known for doing lifted trucks and specialty items.

Very nice. I've enjoyed my Open Country AT2 so far.
I have the 285/75R18
Basically a 35x11.50x18 tire.

I'm like a little kid on Christmas morning I tell ya. Gonna sit in my yard and drink beer looking at this thing for the rest of the night.

There was another member on the forum that peaked my interest in black outs for the hood vents. I went ahead and did them today too. Love the look. 30aab60cc36c7e90a35191b12515512a.jpg

MegaMan, Did you keep the factory track bar or did you get an adjustable? If it's stock, can you do me favor and snap a pic from the front end? I want to see how much the front diff shifted.

I put my Carli adjustable track bar when i did the 2inch lift, but left the length adjusted to my last truck's 2.5inch level. The axle is shifted to the passenger side. It's noticable and passenger tire rubs when going up driveways with the wheel locked right.

If the factory track bar keeps it almost center, i'll just throw that back on and re adjust the carli when I have time to tinker with it.

Zeddy, I went with the Thuren track bar which is delivered pre adjusted for this application. I would assume you should back your axle side joint off a few turns to get that axle centered.

You need to adjust the track bar. Putting the stock one back on isn't going to help if you're lifted.

Anyone use the 1" rear lift coils yet? Didn't notice them mentioned in this thread.

No, I wanted to retain full payload capacity so I kept the stock springs on. Could always go with a spacer but I use this truck for work often and it's tall enough for me with the 35s in the back.

Yes, I have them on mine. I installed the front kit and waited a week before doing the rear. I couldn't believe the difference in ride quality after doing the rear springs.
