Has anyone with a 2500 used the 1A Auto tow mirrors have any issues. Their site say 2013-2015 ram 1500 but only list 13-14 for the 2500. The mirrors are the same on both trucks even including the 3500's correct. I don't know of any changes from 13-14 to 15 for the mirrors.

I want to buy the power folding tow mirrors but I'm a little gun shy to pull the trigger if they wont work. The guy at a 1A Auto just says "it only list the mirrors from 13-14"

Any help would be great.

Just to add info to the thread, I messaged the guy a while back and I know they have nothing for the 2016 ram 2500 yet, because I want some for my truck. I don't know what different from year to year but apparently something is with the wiring. I need power tilt, and defrost mirrors with no lights/blinkers.

tow mirrors that come with the truck from the factory are weird. especially the passenger side main mirror - its a flat glass, so you cant really see much out of it.

That's because they have a separate convex mirror.

the Mopar ones are around $1,000 compared to the 1A Auto ones at $359.... I also Checked and the dealer said they wouldn't work b/c they didn't come from the factory on my truck. Basically he took my VIN and looked it up on the computer which told him what came on my truck and you know you can't veer from that....lol

I know the mirrors from a 1500 will work just fine from a 13-15.

I thought I read somewhere on here that someone with a 2500 had bought them and they worked just fine but I can't find the thread.

I installed the 1A mirrors on my 2015 2500. Mine came with the base of the base mirrors as mine was a tradesman edition truck.

the mirrors fit perfectly and were significantly cheaper than factory and look and function the exact same. I however didn't get the power fold function.

Something they don't note in there though is you will have to go into the dealer to have them flash sales codes onto your truck depending on what your mirrors are currently. Seeing that mine didnt have any features to it they had to flash the sales code for the blinker light, the puddle lamp and for the tow mode feature. I had them adjust my TPMS sensors at the same time and they charged me $50...

I highly recommend the guys at 1A! They were awesome to work with! I had a minor issue with one of my mirrors wiring connectors and they shipped me a replacement that same day. The fit and finish is spot on! You wouldn't regret it.

My 2500 came with all the options for the mirrors minus memory. Basically power fold, power, heat, turn sigmals, puddle light, temp, and auto dim. The truck had all the options I wanted minus the tow mirrors so I bought it. Basically from what I have found it should plug and play. Only issue is when I talked to Tony their site only lists the years 13-14 to work for the 2500's but 13-15 for the 1500's. He said they have a 60 day return policy so I should be good to go. I just figured it wouldn't hurt to ask before spending $360 bucs and having to send back.

They should fit as all the 4th gen style doors are the same regardless of the 1500, 2500, 3500 and 4500.

you may still have to have the sales code for the tow mirror feature flashed in. Otherwise when you flip the mirrors up the directional button for adjusting will be off.

they will fit and they will look great as well

Ram 1500 Trailer Tow Mirrors, AllMoparParts.com

Seems stock ones are cheaper if you can turn a wrench.

Thank you, I've seen those but they are not power fold. You can find those even cheaper on Craigslist and ebay. The power fold ones cost a lot more. I think I might bite the bullet and order the 1AAuto ones and hope for the best.

Well I bit the bullet today and ordered the mirrors from 1A Auto. They are the power folding tow mirrors. They are for the 13-15 ram 1500 but the mirrors are the same on all three trucks so I going with it. I have all the options minus the memory so it should be plug and play hopefull. Will keep everyone posted!

You will still likely have to have the sales code for the tow mirror feature to work properly. When the mirror is flipped up it sends a signal to the truck for the operation of the directional controls to change with it.

you'll love them though. I have compared mine to the mirrors on our truck at work and i actually can't tell a difference to be honest. Appears the puddle lights are the same as well as the blinker light.

Well the mirrors came today and I had them on in about 1/2 hour or so. I've taken the door panels off before to replace speakers so I knew what to do FYI.... Everything works perfect.... NO issues at all. All options work perfect!!!!!! I couldn't be more happier, the box that they arrived in looked like hell but the mirrors were not damaged.

I'm gonna let Tony at 1A Auto know that the mirrors for the 1500's work perfectly fine on the 2015 ram 2500's

I need to figure out how to post pics now.....lol
