I'd like to lift my 16' Laramie crew cab 8" and put 37" tires with 20" rims. Not a big fan of the "deep dish" rim. I don't want the tires to stick out much more than the stock tires. I'm looking for any suggestions on lift kits and the backspacing I'll need on the rims. I'd like to see pics of trucks with similar setups and any ideas welcome, thanks in advance

You don't need an 8" lift to fit 37's unless you want to use wheels with a lot of negative offset.

I'd like to have the 8 inch lift for the height, I think the 37 inch tire would fit pretty well with the suspension being stock. I need to educate myself with all the backspacing and lift kit options I have with the suspension. Thanks for your reply

My suggestion is to speak with the manufacturer of your planned lift for tire/rim suggestions. I highly recommend BDS.

I could only find a 6" lift ?
Not to up on this though , I would say a 0 offset to +6 would put 12.5 in pretty close to stock

Think stock rims are like + 18 or + 20 , but with smaller tire

-6 to -12 for 13.5 width ?

Please have someone confirm this as I am not really up on this subject

Here's a link to a app that is awesome!
It allows their readers to submit photos of their rigs and includes all the hardware they used to get their, along with the little things they had to do to get it right.
It then goes one step further and offers the exact setup for purchase, through the app.
It's called "CUSTOM OFFSETS"
Their web site is: customwheeloffset.com
Check it out, it's worth the time!
Hope that it's helpful.

Hey nice truck man!! My truck is a 6.4 gas job, I'm really thinking of getting a diesel just so I can do the modifications I have in mind, I didn't think there would be so many obstacles

If you want to save some cash just do the power wagon suspension and you can fit 37's with very minor trimming of the plastic in front of the pinch weld. But I understand if you want to do the big lift too. I wish I could go 6" lift and 38's, but just dont want to dump that much cash into it.
