As many of you may know, people with the latest 2015 model Dodge Rams have been experiencing all kinds of problems with aftermarket HID installs. This is likely due to a revised programming of the computer system in the Ram.

Enlight has recently developed a solution for all of you who are looking to install HID headlights on your 2015+ Ram. It has been tested and verified working on 2015 models without any issues. No error messages, no periodic on-off cycles. Full 2 year warranty on the bulbs and ballasts, 1 year warranty on everything else.

The Kit includes the following:
- 2 Enlight Alpha-35W Ballasts
- 2 Enlight 6000k pure white ARC Series 9012 Bulbs (or H11 if you have reflector housings)
- 1 Mounting Hardware kit
- 1 Alpha Series Relay harness
- 1 Custom Interface Harness
- 2 Custom Decoder Modules

35w ballasts are all that you offer? I ran 55w in my last Ram. Also...any other color choices?
Thx.

Yes these will work on the 2014 models. Some 2014 models do not need this setup, but it appears as if if there may have been a mid year change that Dodge made on these vehicles. Some of our customers can run our normal Ram HID systems for 2009-2014 without issues. However, there may be some late 2014 models which have the same changes as the 2015 models and will require the setup posted in this thread. If you want to avoid any issues, this system will work on all 2009-2015 ram models.

We only carry 6000k at this time. We have had a few customers asking for other colors, but after trying our bulbs they have been very satisfied with the light color and output. If you have stock projectors, we have real 9012 socket hid bulbs. Not 9006 bulbs like some other places may include. These 9012 bulbs don't require any modification for proper fitment.

I also carry Morimoto XB55 Ballasts which are 50W. This can be substituted for an extra $35 I have personally measured our systems with an integrating sphere to get true lumen output of these systems. The Alpha 35W ballasts using our latest H11 bulbs yields ~2950lm @ 5900k CCT. This is very high for a 6000k bulb, most standard 6000k bulbs are closer to 2400lm. The XB55 ballast paired with the same H11 bulb yeilds ~4250lm @ 5280k CCT

So if you are looking for a lower color temperature, you can get there by just choosing the XB55 Ballasts. Its also important to note that our bulbs do not look blue like some other claimed "6000k" bulbs on the market. They have a very colorless white appearance. No blue tint.

how hard are these to install? Any drilling or mods to the vehicle? Also what is the light output for the Projector headlight kits with both the 35w and 50w ballast?

The system will work for fog lights but the harness will need to be extended in order to reach the fog lights. However you will still need one setup for each. One for the low beams and one for the high beams.

The listed system is intended for low beams only as specified.

Can you give us any pics of the color output with the projector housings? I'm wanting to do an HID conversion in my projectors and LED conversions in highs and fogs. Just don't want a big color difference. Thanks!

Here is a picture of the color in a reflector housing. I don't have a picture of the projector housings unfortunately.

So to do lows, highs, and fogs, you would need three kits, correct?

Does it matter what bulbs you use for the fogs, or are they the same plug and play as the headlights?

Also, any chance you guys sell the wiring extenders for the fogs as well?

You know I have been wanting to try a different solution for the fog lights which could eliminate the need for an extra relay harness. If anybody is willing to test out our TetraFlux LED fog lights I will make a custom setup which I believe will eliminate the need for a dedicated relay harness for use with our LED fog lights. If it does not work I will offer a full refund upon return of the system.

I have not had the chance to test this system for the high beams. I am not sure if the Ram has the monitoring circuit for the high beams. But if it does, then yes you would need 3 separate setups for fogs, highs and low beams. Which I will admit is quite a bit of stuff. I can make a extended harness for use with the Fog lights. If someone is willing to try out LED fog light solution, let me know. The TetraFlux LED bulbs are 880lm each which is very bright for an LED bulb, but not HID bright.

Finally got an install video up for these! Its not in the most efficent order of operations but it should greatly help clarify all the connections for proper function!

You can still do low beams and high beams using this setup, we have the high beam kits available. But it does get pretty crowded as its a lot of stuff to put in.

For 50W kits this is still the only way to go. But hopefully soon I'll have a simplified setup that will be compatible with the 35W systems and it will eliminate the need for all of this nonsense.

Are there any plans for a low/high beam system?

Thanks for all the info guys. How do you decide what kit to get? Seeing more and more kits in the market now for the 2015 Rams. There is Enlight, Diodedynamics, Brightsourcehid, HeadlightRevolution, Retroshop, etc... hard to decide.

I will likely be carrying the Diode Dynamics modules soon. I need to see them working myself first though. Not their entire kit just the modules which will integrate with the Enlight components. So as of now, it looks like that will be a potential option in the next couple weeks. But only for 35W non-rapid start ballasts. No 50W love there.

As for what to company to pick, take into consideration price, warranty, and build quality of the kits. Take a detailed look at all individual components. And see what your getting for your money. I am familiar with the kits from some of the companies you have mentioned and can highlight the key differences via PM if you wish.
