i am currently looking at purchasing the 2016 Rebel Mopar edition. Truck is amazing and probably the best truck I've ever driven in my life and I've gotten a great offer but I can't get past the grille. I'd rather just have the black crosshairs like on the express. Anyone know if it's possible to modify the rebel and change the grille?

The bumper is different also. And I think that will prevent you from changing the grill

I'm sure down the line an aftermarket company will make a replacement but I don't think there are any out right now.

You can take off the RAM letters and maybe the middle section too and just have mesh grille.

I was afraid of that. Thank you for the input. The truck is great and could've been a complete homerun. I know there's mixed feelings out there about it but IMO they dropped the ball on the rebel and Laramie limited grilles.

I wonder how close the 09-12 grilles would come to fitting? I searched for a bit & couldn't find anyone who tried or even dimensions of the 2 for that matter. Not even sure if mounting points are the same. Just noticed they have the same general shape. I agree, not a huge fan of the newest grilles. Still get it if the deals right, trucks *******! Just customize it & let us know how it goes.

The 13+ has the angles at the bottom which leaves a gap, the Rebel grill physically sticks out an additional 2-3" from the truck vs the stock grill and it is also longer at the bottom to line up with the bumper

The grille is kinda one of the points to the Rebel. Makes is different from a regular 1500. Power Wagon's using it now, but it sets the truck apart from other 1500s. Rather than an expensive alteration to the truck grille, just get a 1500 Big Horn or whatever package has a grille that you like.
