I have a 2014 Big Horn 6.7L and one of the two gripes I have about the truck is the small mirrors.

Not happy with any other solution, I decided to make a custom fit Blind Spot Mirror...and I love it.

Question: Is there a market for this or am I the only one who would enjoy a custom fit blind spot mirror?

It looks like your truck didn't come with tow mirrors. Oem tow mirrors look just like that

Roger that...it didn't come with tow mirrors. And, according to the dealer, there are no upgrades. I am stuck with a truck made to pull everything you put behind it...but with dinky mirrors.

So far, though...I at least have the blind spot taken care of with these custom fit ones.

Thrasher,

I actually designed it, and had a company make me two prototypes. One for each side.

Now the question is...do I want to go forward and have them manufactured and sell them, or not.

You should be able to pick up standard 2010-16 ram tow mirrors and swap them out. 1/2 guys do it.

But your design is nice and would be a great option for those who don't want to swap or don't like the look of the snap on kind

I think the problem is, these are Power Fold In mirrors. Those bigger tow mirrors don't power fold...not a big problem, except that you lose that functionality.

However, I could be wrong, so thank you for your insight.

Hell yeah I'd be interested in a set of those! Funny because I was just looking at some stick ons earlier today, but nothing remotely close to factory looking. I don't have the need for tow mirrors otherwise, but these would be nice.

Not sure why the dealer told you you couldn't swap your mirrors though...

I think they have power fold tow mirrors but not a 100% sure.

The only way it pencils out is to sell them at $29/pair. That would take care of both mirrors.

Forgot to quote this. But I am down for a set right now.. Price is just right !!

Thank you, smoothee! I appreciate your feedback. I also had a funny experience. I tried 3 different sets of universal blind spot mirrors and they all looked horrible. I finally got sick and tired of looking at goofy things on my mirror and decided to do something about it!

I will keep you posted on how things go!
