I want to get these, can they be removed easily if they were to break, I've had my share of people and things run into my mirrors

Yes, they can be popped off. You would have to reapply the double back adhesive if you wanted to reattach though.

Just received my wasestar blind spot mirrors. Ordered sat on amazon. Think I got the old style tho as the package looks pretty beat up (scratched). Do you just send out new ones. I'd rather not attach these and have to remove them if they are the defective ones.

The face of my mirror looked like that too actually, its just a protective wrap.
Carefully peel it back and unleash the glory my friend

Just like dan1911 said, that is just the protective cover over the mirror. That is why there is a label that says 'please remove protective layer...'.

However, blackbetty14, I can send you ones that I know have the updated adhesive if you want. Just email me at [email protected]

Yes, I was just referring to the plastic packaging. It's scratched a lot like it's been moved around a lot. And it's not the fresh new updated ones.

I have emailed you Wade and can't wait to get these installed!

-24 when I woke up and temp still dropping. Currently -29 and likely into mid -30s this evening. These things are holding up great! I gave them a slight tug and they do not budge one bit. The frosty-ness that I had posted earlier somehow cleared up (guess it's too cold for ice crystal buildup lol) so now they are fully usable!

Also, thought the pic of the crystallized Ram logo was pretty sweet and wanted to share

Ran your RM9's on my truck here for about a month or so, I like the concept although for some reason I envisioned something slightly different. Am very happy to order RM10's from Amazon now. Still happy to support you!

I bought an older set on Ebay and they have arrived. It might be spring before I can get the mirrors warm enough to try them out. I already have the newer set so I may end up keeping them as is. We'll see.

Is there away to tell if you got a new set or an old set. I got them for Christmas and I was wondering if I have the updated ones or the old ones with the adhesive issue

Firefighter14, there is an easy way...look at the back of the mirror and let me know what color dot you see.

And, to be honest, there is only a small chance you got one of the originals if you get them this late. The issue was remedied by mid to late November. Anything being sold in the last month has the updated adhesive.

Let me know what color dot you see and I can tell you for sure.
