Chris's 6.4 Hemi Stroker Truck

Well I had a crazy weekend haha. Yesterday morning a forum guy sent me a Craigslist add he saw for a 4th gen center console. I had mentioned I was looking for one to incorporate a floor shifter for the new trans set up. So I spent 11 hours on the road yesterday driving to the outskirts of Philadelphia to pick up this gem [emoji23] can’t wait to get this worked in! I’ve wanted a console for awhile and finally found a good deal. So now I have even more parts to add the the stack of work. It’s been aggravating waiting on the engine because I’ve had all these little projects adding up and waiting for the engine to go in first. Almost to the point where stuff can go together this week

The guy I bought it from had all the black leather 4th gen seats swapped in his 04, that’s defiantly on my list to make it my forever truck

id mix the paint for tint and do a very light red tint on that reflector, make it blend more into the paint around it, also it would make it stand out more since you would never see it anywhere

i did it on a truck that had green accents once, turned out really nice, and got questions all the time about it

That’s a great idea! I’ve been on the fence about the white. I doubt I will do red, I feel like I already have a lot of red going on right now, maybe I’ll spray it with a light coat of the nightshade tint and go black.

Started on getting the console in the truck. There is alot of trimming where it meets up to the dash. I need to order a trim panel I didn't get with the console to make the passenger side match up alittle better. It's not mounted yet, and I will probably have to fab up a couple brackets to mount it. The ultimate goal of this is to be able to use the shifter to hook up to my new trans that is going in later. It's not going to be easy, it's looking like I need to hook up some kind of electric solenoid to the shifter to use the bump shifter for automatic shifting.

Man that Definitely updates the look of the entire center and even up the dash with that. Wow. Looks sweet Man! That'll definitely make those shifting sequences easier down the strip!

The engine is finally finished and back to the garage!! It's been 2.5 months since I bought the engine and started tearing it apart. So here are some pics! I'll start building the block and hopefully next weekend will be the actual truck tear down. Ill be doing the engine, front end swap, new headlights, hydrobooster and hooking up my new gauges. So alot of work coming up

Haha and I’m not even close to being done. The truck will be a complete beast when it’s done. Basically a stroker, a trans that can handle it, 4.56 gears and probably some nitrous at some point [emoji41]
