Looks damn good. But I think I would've painted the part the tb goes on, too. At least. Imo, I'd paint the whole thing, but idk how much of a hassle that would actually be since I don't have the thing i front of me and being worked on.

Everything is painted but the base, that was too hard to make sure it was totally grease free. After it’s in the truck there’s a lot that can’t be seen, especially after all the wires are hooked up to it. That’s why the back end isn’t perfect, after I worked so long on it It’s as good as it’s gonna get. You can’t really see as much as you’d think

Alrighty. Maybe I'll snag one from LKQ to eff with. Get custom colored paint on it rather than relying on an existing color.

Everything about this thread makes me happy, keep up the good work.
I thought this was posted in my build thread and I was all giddy for a second, then I loaded it up on the computer and physically slumped in my chair out of disappointment when I realized you had posted in Chris's thread...

Holy Engine failures Batman! I definitely found my source of oil loss [emoji15] long story short, when I was rebuilding the engine the first time, I tried to put the pressfit piston wrist pin on myself. You are supposed to heat the rod up to expand it, then drop in the wrist pin while it’s hot. The first one we did we got it way too hot and decided to let a machine shop do the rest of the pins. When I tore apart the engine today, I found out the one we did was completely loose in the rod, and basically it fell right out in my hand. All the other ones were still solid and good. Well that wrist pin was sliding around in the engine and it trashed the cylinder wall. It’s was pretty bad, but it didn’t crack the wall...yet. It probably wouldn’t have been too much longer before the wall would have broke, and had a major coolant leak. So good thing we got it fixed now. Live and learn I guess. e075d4fe61daccd7721f00f579696a61.jpg

Here’s alittle behind the scenes video. Unfortunately I had to restart the manifold project. There was some damage on the bottom I thought I could fix, but after working on it decided it was too bad to risk. So here’s me starting over haha

I’ll be putting my Comp 260 cam up for sale tonight when I get my pictures taken, and the engine block. Got lots of parts and pieces I’m trying to sell, all for some good prices. I decided to go ahead and put a custom cam in now, so trying to sell anything I can!

Sorry to get off track Chris, but it's not everyday I meet someone else named Dana, let alone a fellow Ram owner.
