Yep, my truck was on the showroom floor they had to move 4 cars and half the stuff on the floor to get her out.












I'm not big on chrome but a friend of mine I worked who had an 09 was so we had an idea, swap inserts...couldn't be happier

Plastidipping the center of the grille was a royal pain in my ass when it came time to remove the tape around the edges. I did it on the truck which probably made it 80% harder than it could have been. Been debating whether to remove it and do it over or just taking it to a shop and have it painted matte black...pretty settled on the shop doing it.

I've decided to go ahead and get it done along with the front when I get my grille painted. I just ordered new grille and tailgate badges today and they should be here by the end of the week so hopefully I can drop all three things off at a paint shop next weekend.

Actually, 2 hours after making this post, I've just finished watching a few youtube videos from dipyourcar.com and I think when my new ram heads come in, I'm going to give plasti-dipping/painting the rear badge another shot. I've come across an idea that might work. And once my headlights come in from JJ, I'll try to clean up the plasti-dip around the ends of the cross hairs of my grille.

Wow, you didn't waste no time in modding that sucker and it look great. I drove down to Las Vegas many time the wife and I please keep us updated. It will give me some ideal on my mod.

Thanks and will do! I'm actually from Washington myself, Tacoma actually. It's a fun long drive...Made the drive nonstop twice now, I'm ready to pass out at the end of it.

Trust me, I'll be coming back for a set of those sometime soon, to include a third. And if I could ever make up my mind, I'll probably be coming back for some fogs to match my heads. I can never make up my mind if I want to get the Ram Runner front bumper or just get a light bar like Mad Cow.

cool! I wish the 3rds would come off of backorder.......I have 6 (or 10, I can't remember) on order from the dealer right now.

Just FYI I say come next year I will be selling the light bar and lights because I am going a different route. :********:

ummmm....that's next year though.....if I go light bar, it'll be in a few months...lol

I dunno, think I'll be debating this matter for awhile because I really like the ram runner bumper, it's just so damn expensive and I'll need to pay someone to install it because I can't weld, lol.
