Have a 2011 Ram 1500 i purchased September 2016. This won't be a heavily modded truck, i put most of my money towards my other 4x4, a Toyota 4runner. This truck was purchased to act as my daily driver and to tow my boat.

To start things off here are some specs and info:

2011 Ram 1500 Quad Cab SLT 4x4
5.7L Hemi
3.55 axle ratio
265/70/17 BFG KO tires
Mineral Grey Metallic
Beige cloth seating
bench seating
Upgraded factory speakers w/ basic radio
rear parking sensors
remote start

I am the 2nd owner, truck is originally from Alaska, bought it with 112k miles. took out a loan, have a long way to go.

My future plans for it are to make it into my second "overland" vehicle. so i will be adding some type of bed cap and possible drawers in the bed. winch, skids and leveling kit will be added too.

one of the 1st things i did was remove the mudflaps. then bought some things including an Access Tonnuea cover, window deflectors, full front/rear Husky Liners, and replace most of the interior lights, cargo lights, license plate lights with LED's.

now the most recent mods....was time to upgrade my radio. since this a newer truck and i plan to have it for a long time i decided i wanted a really nice radio w/ GPS. always had experiance with Garmin, so i went with a Kenwood headunit. i added a Maestro RR which basically will program all the factory functions like steering wheel controls, OBD codes, TPMS, guages and a bunch more into the headunit. Spent a little over $800 for everything, and am very happy with it. I thought i would need to upgrade my speakers soon, but this new radio enhances the sound and there is so much adjustment.

my latest addition to the truck were OEM front tow hooks. used a dremel to cut the plastic piece, after that it took 10 minutes to bolt them up.

also my battery was dead so i bought a Duralast Platinum. my old battery was a Mopar, so i assume it was the original.

one thing i forgot to mention less then a month after i bought it, i was getting the Hemi Tick, i took it to the dealer and i had a used car warranty but they would not cover it. i ended up paying for the repair. since then it's just been oil changes everything seems goo, although on occasion at a cold start up i get a squealing noise that goes away after 60 seconds. i currently have about 124k miles on it.

recently i painted my front bumper with bedliner spray paint, came out pretty good. i took my Ram up to North Carolina to see the Solar Eclipse and held up fine. i plan on doing the same to the rear.

i also bought new headlamp housings (ebay blackout version) and LED headlights from Headlight Revolution. I will be taking the truck up to Maine in October, so to get it prepared i just purchased some more accessories: rubber bed mat, winch grille guard (no winch yet), Bilstein 5100 level kit, factory skids, Powerstop Brake kit (front/rear) and i plan to get a bed cap soon.

Just got back from a 10-day trip up to Maine. Truck did great and averaged 18 mpg highway even with all my gear. Once I was in the mountains and off-road it dropped to 15, though. No mechanical problems, just ended up with a flat. A rock punctured one of my tires, drove into town, ended up buying 4 new tires, General Grabber AT2, same size.
