Do you know what kind of sway bar you have on he rear? I've never really felt the need for one, just curious if you've driven without it for comparison

Sorry, was not thinking clearly :sleepy10:, I have the Maxx links for the rear, sway bar end links by Suspension Maxx for my 94 Cummins. I have the Hellwig sway bar on my 08 Cummins, yes I noticed a big difference from before and after installing the Hellwig sway bar. I noticed reduced body roll, all 4 tires hit the pavement when turning at high speeds.

I'm itching to do something to my truck but it's way to cold in Wisconsin and I dot have a garage to work in to put a steering brace on.
Really on the fence about getting EFI Live, I should wait a month or two but I'm really itching to install it. I did a simulated quarter mile on my CTS and hit 17.4 at 80 mph spinning on a snow covered road haha
Also considering clear corner headlights and tow mirrors but again, I don't have a garage to work in here
I have a bedrug from our new site vendor Truckmods.com sitting at my parents house in PA, hoping to get into my brothers garage to install it when I go home in two weeks

And a random picture, kinda upset there's no snow here, just frigid temps

Wisconsin does get cold, Ive only been there one time, that was in Madison a few years ago on our way to Fargo, North Dakota. We took my truck the 6.7 , it was in February. You have some tuning options for your truck, never used EFI but have heard good things about them. You really can't go wrong with the other tuning companies such as the Banks 6 gun with speed loader, which has a built-in safety features so you don't tear up your truck. Banks is a very clean tune, have to be to sell and to be located there in the state of California with the CARB. Edge is good, pretty smoky tune will throw you in the back seat, Bully Dog which I had the Crazy Larry tune on my old 03 Cummins along with the other 2 I mentioned, Bully Dog being my favorite. Even though H&S Performance is no longer in the tuning business there are a few of the XRT PRO down-loaders, and Mini Max race tuners around for your year make. Do you plan on getting the Valair or a South Bend clutch, or is it an automatic?

EFI or smarty is the only tuners I'd run, personally. I didn't realize H&S was no longer selling tuners (although I do remember hearing something about them selling their business to an out of country company but idk about that). I was a big fan of the Mini Maxx I put on my ex's Dads 6.7 back in 2010

Won't ever buy Bullydog again. I tried putting a Bullydog GT on my ex girlfriends 05 Cummins and it wouldn't work cause it had a manual transmission. Customer service was good but there wasn't a fix. While trying to get it to work I read to many threads in horror stories about their tuning also and killing TIPM. I let a buddy run it on his 06 Cummins for awhile untill it started causing him problems (wouldn't start, gauges would freak out, truck stalling was the final straw) I sold it to a friend who used it for gauges in his Dmax until it made his headlights and dash lights go out driving down the highway.

This isn't my first go round with tuning, I also said Id never run EFI since they came with 06-09 tuning years ago since they wouldn't support 03-05. Times change lol. The CSP5 switch wasn't available then either which really helped sway me. Clutch will go in once I burn the stock one out, going to milk it as long as I can. Had a pretty heavy dual disc south bend in another truck and it made it miserable to drive. Will probably go with the organic plates this time. Fass is also in the plans for the summer once it warms up

Regularcab, I'm sure it isn't hard to install tow mirrors when you can feel your fingers haha

The Bullydog GT tuner you had must have had a glitch in it. Ive known several people who have had them wirh no issues from Cummins, Duramax, and the Powerstroke. I had the Power Pup down-loader with the Crazy Larry tune, on my 03 CR, loved it! But, I Know how it is when you have a bad experience or its left a bad taste in your mouth, or a bad product you don't want to mess them anymore, that's understandable. H&S Performance, did not sale, still under the same ownership, just changed the name. It's now HS Motorsports offering turbos, fuel systems, calibrations, and miscellaneous stuff, but no tuners or down-loaders. The company has been through some rough times over the last few years. They stopped production of their tuners, and down-loaders, back in late 2012. But still offering tech support for their products. That is why they doubled in price! In August of 2014 they were fined 1 million dollars from the California CARB for the state of California, violation from the California Health and Safety code. So then about 3 months ago they closed and stopped technical support of their products. There are some still available from eBay, Amazon, and some diesel performance shops. Once they are gone, no more!

They're known to not work on manual trucks. From what I've seen their other loaders are better then the GT but you'd be silly not to run a smarty on an 03-05 IMO

This isn't really true, they discontinued their delete tuners at that time
http://www.ramforum.com/f122/h_s_press_release-_dpf_egr_removal-24339/
They came out with "street" tuners that they produced untill recently and had "high sulfur" tuning available for them. I was going to get a mini maxx street version earlier this summer but after considering the cost of a mini maxx+mcc tuning it was cheaper to get an Edge CTS and EFI Live with CSP5 switch, plus I have a rear view camera too

I remember reading that on the H&S forum a few years back. This is what happened, they stopped all production of all tuners, down-loaders, for dpf removal, which we all know this. They put a stop to all production , whatever they had in the warehouse from what the HS tech said, and sold them all, when the 3rd parties found out about the situation they took advantage of that and doubled the price. They just came up with a pretty name Street tuner, and high sulfur unlock being emissions removal. Use to before you updated it would show MILD, WILD, and HOT. Which is what I still have, new updates would show, STREET, PERFORMANCE, blah, blah. I thought after reading that press release from H&S, that they were going to focus on emissions tuning only. Well that was never the case. When that press release came out, they stop production right then. If you were using your truck for off road use and send the necessary paperwork from the EPA H&S would send you the unlock code. Or if you lived in a foreign country that was ok with removal of emissions they would send you the unlock code. Now the information I received was from others, at the H&S forum. So the down-loaders, and tuners that are still out their are from 2 years ago, rather it was a street tuner, Sulfur unlocked, or off road tuning. But they were still offering warranties, technical support at that time. They were still offering technical support up until they received that hefty fine. So with the combination of not selling tuners, and down-loaders for 2 years with no sales, and the fine from CARB of the state of California, and with the EPA on their ass. They closed technical support completely! They have nothing to do or say for the tuners, and down-loaders still out their. They now go by strictly HS Motorsports selling turbos, calibrations, fuel systems, and so on.

Got bored and tinted my windows 35%, hated the eyebrows so I got new lights with clear corners and got brackets for the 30" LED light bar that's been behind my seat for almost a year now

So i have been crazy busy and havent spent much time here lately
Mid May was my one year anniversary with my truck so I decided to buy new wheels and tires. I placed the order May 31st from Custom Offsets and it has been nothing but trouble since. They were delivered scratched to hell from mounting and balancing. I went with them cause they have a store just 45 minutes from where I moved to but it turns out they don't do anything there but run a website and sell everything through a distributor. Its been a month now and I am still waiting on replacements (the distributor is a 3 hour drive away)

5 weeks of fighting with Custom Offsets/SD Wheel Corp about getting my damaged wheels replaced I finally got a new set!
But they were damaged the same way the first was!
I specifically asked for the second set to get balancing beads so they wouldnt get scratched on the balancing machine arbor, they agreed, the invoice says they put them in but they still came with sticky weights and the same scratches as the first set. Fortunately the outside of the wheel looks better and I can cover the scratches with the center cap. I'll just have to figure something out down the road when I put locking hubs on the front.
I will tell everyone I can not to buy from Custom Offsets/SD Wheel Corp. after that mess. I was warned but I didn't listen!

The truck looks really good with the new kicks!! I can't believe they can have such terrible customer service :( lesson learned here.
