Build on a 03 3.7l

Alright I'm doing something unheard of around here. I'm doing a full build on the 3.7L V6 RWD. I like a challenge and don't care for the hemi I prefer them 360s in the 2nd gen. But anyways got her a couple yrs ago when I was in military training.
That's what she looked like when I got her.

So far she's mostly had visual things done new grill and headlights and got her all blacked out. Do away with all that nasty chrome.

Then came along the lift kit 4in CST spindle lift and RC 3in coil spring for the front and a RC 4in block in the back. RC shocks on all four corners. (Bilsteins when I get the funds to buy them.)


Dropped a CAI in the engine and that really woke the V6 up was able to get the throttle response up a bit.

I was able to fit her with a set of Remington 18x9 wheels and wrapped in 35x12.5 Lionhart Lionclaw MTs

Put some tow mirrors on here and went out and got some nice pictures of her all cleaned up and ready for the mud

Went out to see my parents and got the truck flexed as best I could on a dirt mound in the yard

Waiting now on getting my exhaust done and rear end done with a Yukon HO 4.56 mayb 4.88s with a Detroit locker set up to really get her going. Got a ported throttle body and intake manifold nearly completed to put in the engine to get the Lil Man filled with air.

Reminds me of my truck! First vehicle and truck I've ever had, would love to keep it forever! But one quick question, was the cold air intake worth it.. always wondered with the v6's!

Yep gives it a lil more umph if you know what I mean but the one in it is just a cheap eBay piece. I'm going to get an AEM filter for it and just keep the tube.

I'll have to get that next then, always looking for easy performance upgrades!

So have new brakes on order my EBC Greenstuff I put in in September with the lift are gone won't be buying EBC again.
Monroe semi metallic on prefer with centric slotted and drilled rotor to replace the damaged rotor from the EBC mishap.
New wheel hubs on the way since the front had a lil play in them and don't wanna break anything so getting them fixed.

Was approved for a sponsorship the other day waiting to find out if I get my new hood or not getting a type SSK hood like Derekp has got on his monster. Hope it comes through.

So trucks been neglected for a couple weeks due to work and other projects at the house.
Got new brakes in a brake rotor and new wheel bearing the other rotor should be here tomorrow.
Had an accident backing down a dark driveway with a tree pulled my passenger mirror off new one should be here early next week along with my new found itch. Gonna start with my LED lights got a 52in straight bar already to put on flush mounted lights and a tailgate lights on the way. Gonna start getting some lights wired up and make it a bit brighter where I go.

Got he new Wheel Hubs installed along with the brand new Centric slotted and drilled brake rotors with my Monroe semi metallic brake pads. Finished her off with a good cleaning.

Similar reason to what happened to me in a dark driveway. I backed into my cousins car in the dark. So then went in were the flush led bumper lights, led reverse lights, and a backup camera with night vision. Lol

How'd you wore yours in? Is it to a switch or are they wired directly to your reverse lights?
I'm gonna splice it into the trailer 4 pin harness so no switch for the cab.

Which ones? The led flush lights and the lights on the back of my tool box are on a switch in the cab. They come in handy for many uses, fishing, working, or treating some a hole riding my ass to some daylight at night. Lol the camera is wired to the reverse lights and my kenwood head unit shows it when I'm in reverse.

Ah okay yeah no the flush mounted lights I drive to many back roads so I never really get a lot of those guys

But what if you are fishing at night? Or grilling out? Or camping? Or working on something? I use mine for all kinds of things. Lol

Ima get extra lights for that plus I'm always preoccupied with work

I am like you as in I hate the 400hp Hemi along with a paltry 410 ft lbs of tq. What a wimpy combo. Next thing you know the new gen will have 420hp and 430 ft lbs of tq. My Hemi is garbage I tell you garbage.

Got a box of goodies tailgate LED bar, flush mounted lights, and my new mirror glass to put on this week
