Now next part is hypothetical but very possible down the road I believe I may turbo it after the head is built. Something modest single 67mm I think. Problem is how I run it. I think I'll do a crossover in a Y-pipe style from drivers side to passenger side. And mount be turbo to the inner fender. Do a oil filter remote set up so I can tap into that for a feed line to the turbo. I wanna keep the front of the motor free of obstructions. The only reason for this is I want some more bottom end umph. And no one has done this before from what I can gather about it. I'll put some HD head parts in to accommodate this forced induction.
I get really bored at work staring at chassis parts all day and I start to think about these things. But that's all hypothetical atm.

Got the primer done Friday but that was all that got done due to the heat. Need a lil bit of fine sanding to smooth it out but nothing crazy.

I did 6 coats but that was due to I did 2 light coats and a medium coat and sanded back down in some spots then did 2 medium and a heavy coat so it would come out make everything visible in imperfections and still have enough on it after some mild sanding to fix without more painting but only one spot need attention and that's the bottom right before the door so 5 min job and she'll be ready for top coat.

Hey, side question. How are your tires treating you? How many miles do you have on them? Found a set of 35/12.50r17 AT tires by Thunderer, and they're only $675 with free shipping. Pretty good steal for 35s. Can't find any reviews of them yet though.

Making some real headway on the bedside. But I do have new o have a 50" curved led bar coming and new led tail lights coming as well. I already have the mounts for the bar so I'll start working on it as soon as it's here.

My new taillights o have coming

I am getting a roof rack basket to sit on my Jason hard shell tonnuae cover to act as a spare tire holder, jack holder, and maybe a few light bars like the 52" straight I couldn't ever find the right mounts for. I intend to put more paint down sometime between work days this weekend. Once the paint is done I'll get back to work on the lights.

Got my led tails in today put them in as well and I couldn't be happier.

The mailman also brought me my 50" curved led bar. However due to the rain haven't been able to install it or build my center console for my switch panels. Rain has been a pain

It gonna be plywood with foam padding and then wrapped in cloth most likely black. But it'll have a sub box in the bottom and upholders and what not. But definitely a switch spot for everything. I want it to look like it belongs there

Alright so the bed getting painted has finally gotten somewhere all that's left is the clear coat.
Started painting some other stuff but I'll leave that as a surprise.
As soon as the painting is done I'll start on the center console build and install some LEDs. I hope to clear coat Thursday night but one piece I e been painting won't cooperate so might get postponed a day. But all my painting on the truck should be finished this week.

Coming a long great! Do you have any shadowing from the pinstripe on the front end? I have factory pinstripe on mine and hate it and want to get rid of it but worried about shadowing..

Yes I do but I haven't polished it yet been waiting to finish the bed before I detail it. Having it all stripped made me upset seeing it all discolored so I've been hiding it with dirt and mud. Maybe get it done his weekend and let you know

Alright so I just pulled the trigger on a longer drive shaft custom made should be here next week. 2 new spicer 1330 u joints and I'll replace my seals when I pull everything out. Hopefully this will fix my vibrations and what not. Until then I'll ride my bike so long as it ain't storming here since I don't have rain gear for it.
Anyways little project going on has come along nicely try and finish it tonight I hope.

That's all painted need some more coats on the plastic pieces but it's looking good. Clear coat too.
I am redoing the bed liner as well with rustoleom brand liner and a sprayer application this time. And I'll be finding out when my tails will be in. Driver side brake light did t work so I sent them back.

So I got the base coats done on the bumper and mirrors and bed side so it needs clear coat still. However I couldn't help myself and test fitted everything making sure it would blend with the truck really well and what have you. I was really anxious to see it though. Turned out great and really brought the truck together making the front end pop some more and breaking up all the black I had up front.

I'll have to go get some better pics maybe with the mirrors turned up for the better look.
