I'm not getting much done this weekend at all, unfortunately. I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I'm partially disabled, so my plans on what I'm going to get done are subject to change at any time and this was one of those weekends. I think working by myself doing the front bumper wasn't the best of ideas the other day because I've been hurting ever since.

I do have to get the bumper all lined up and fully mounted today. My wife's license plate was stolen off of her car, so I'm going to have her drive mine tomorrow to work. That means that I will have to drive the truck to work, so I kind of need the bumper fully bolted on at least.

Got her bolted on and primed up, just waiting on the new side brackets to get here, but they'll be pretty easy to put on even with the bumper mounted already.

So am I, that's I do get more stuff done than others & is why it takes more time than others for actual hours, this year has been even harder for me, just seems like my drive is very low & always tired.
my disability is internal, not external where people can see.

New toys have arrived. Now I have everything to completely redo the front end and bring it down just a hair more.

Haven't been doing much except gathering parts. Cold weather gets me unmotivated to do any actual work on the truck. I did get a new set of headlights and installed them. I have to order a couple more pieces for the bumper so that I can take it in and have it painted and then I'm going to start turning all of the chrome into black chrome.

Still slacking........ My son bought an Audi A4 that's been taking up a lot of my time and to be perfectly honest, I couldn't decide on a direction in which to take the truck, so I didn't do anything. I think I've finally got it figured out though, so hopefully I'll be starting back up on it soon.

I still have difficulty liking lowered full size trucks but I like yours.

It's been a while since I did an update, but I finally got the bumper with the shaved license plate holes painted and mounted up. The dark headlights have to go. They're just too dark for the truck. They would look great on a darker color truck.

I also ordered a 42" light bar to mount in the lower bumper. It should be here next week.

All wired up and working well. I threw away the crappy switch that came with it and installed a round switch where the cigarette lighter used to be.

The start button I mean

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The light bar came with a harness and a crappy switch where the LED stayed on all the time because it was fed by the battery harness. I just removed the switch, bought a different switch and changed the feed to switched power.

I then just popped out the cigarette lighter, removed the metal sleeve, leaving the black plastic. The switch slid right into the hole.

Got another set of headlights for the truck. These are only temporary though. I'm going to be working on a full retrofit as I get time and money.
