DietDodge 2002 Project

Hey guys I'm new to the forum here so I thought I'd go ahead and post a thread about my truck, its a 2002 ram 1500 long bed crew cab, totally a work in progress. I hope to get it lifted soon but nothing major, I want to stick to leveling or a 3inch lift.

So far mods include:
-plastidipped badges
-spyder black halo headlights
-spyder clear black led taillights
-interior leds
(have a grille that I'm working on right now and a double din radio soon to be installed)

Anyone is welcome to share their thoughts on the truck negative or positive, feel free to let me know what mods you think I should put on it next and I'll try and keep y'all posted. Only problem is I'm on a tight minimum wage budget. Have a fantastic day.

Nice man. Debadged would look a lot cleaner. The wheels would look good dipped black as well. I like the leds, I'm partial to them myself. Lol

Grille installed, cheap Amazon insert in plastic replacement shell.. might upgrade later but for now this will work. Painted with duplicolor color match white.

Just my opinion, id lose the headlights, ive had a few sets of those, the output isnt great anyways, not an improvement over stock at all, i think a simple black OEM style with clear corners would set off the front end even better, the halos and stuff look cool but i want the output to match the cool factor, they also sell pre-retroed headlights on ebay for probably less than what you paid for those and will have 2-3x the output but dont have halos.

i will say i love the white long bed, i really miss mine!

Yeah what I was hoping for is the projector look, but these headlights aren't the best, in hoping I can get some OEM painted black with LED/HID projectors and color shift halos at some point. These were temporary until I can afford to get a set rebuilt.

well you have already stalked my truck without me around, come on by my house one day, we can fix up some lights for you pretty cheap, otherwise you can get these...

I did a projector retrofit myself on the stock headlights. Not too bad of a project if you are handy and cost about $325. Very nice improvement on your truck so far. I like the lift, if my garage door was taller I would do a small lift too. Oh well

On the 02-05 rams its such an easy job to do, it takes no time to do a full retro on those trucks now
