Figured I'd start a running log for the truck since the mods are starting. The truck started as a 2014 2500 Tradesman CC 6.4 4x4 with:

Uconnect 5.0
Popular Equip
Spray in
Back-up camera
Clearance lamps
Tow mirrors
LSD - 3.73
Snow plow prep
Protection Group

Current Mods:
Debadged
Rough Country 2.5 level
Bilstein 5100 all around
KMC XD Battalion 18x9
Cooper Discoverer STT 35x12.5
.50 cal shorty antenna
Weathertech floor liner
LED Lighting
Magnaflow 15333 catback (arrives Tuesday)

Next Mods:
Retrofit Quads
Front Tint
Bumper

Truck currently has like 800 miles on it :D

After the debadge and level

Was gonna wait until after winter for wheels but it was embarrassing driving this truck with those steelies :roflsquared:

That is a sick truck already wow. Looks exactly like what my end goal is for my truck. I'm getting a company car in February that I'm allowed to use as my daily driver, so that's when I'm gonna start looking into some beefier tires like yours. Right now I'm putting around 400 miles a week on the truck so I don't want to run down any off-road tires I might get.

Thanks for giving me some ideas :favorites13:

Was curious.
MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles

This is what I wanted to do on my '13 2500 (Diesel exhaust is the same kit, smaller muffler).

I can't wait to hear a sound clip of this, I'd love to talk my old man into one!

So the picture for the 15333 shows just a muffler and a pipe to the tips. In reality there's another resonator in that spot. The System sounds great but it's on the quieter side for aftermarket exhausts I think. Probably equivalent to putting a mufflex instead of the muffler and leaving the resonator in place.

Will have a Video tomorrow with sound.

Nice truck, I like the wheels... what was the price on rims and tires?

And did you need the new shocks with the leveling kit or was those replaced just because?

Thanks! You'll need new front shocks so I did the rears at the same time since the stock ones suck so bad and the Bilsteins are so cheap.

Was right at like 2175 or so for the wheels/tires shipped with black lugs.

Nice setup. :waytogo:

How's that 6.4 treating you? My next truck will probably be a 2500 and I'd like a diesel, I just don't know if I can justify buying one when I don't tow anything, lol.

I was in the same boat. I wanted a diesel just because but I don't even have a trailer lol. I just couldn't justify how much more they want for diesels but I didn't like any gas options in 3/4 ton trucks until I found out about the 6.4. When I saw ~$10k off for them I couldn't resist.

Honestly I love the platform and engine. I'd like more aftermarket support to open up in the way of tunes/headers etc with some dynos though but that's just how I am with mods.

I love everything about the 2500s more than the 1/2 versions. With a level and 35's you get the height of a 1500 with like a 5". Love the solid front axle and beefier transfer case, axles etc etc. It's not a cadillac for sure but with the Bilsteins it rides great while still being a truck.

Yeah, I probably wouldn't have passed that deal up either. I was lookin' used and didn't really have the 6.4 option at the time. I do like the setup on the 2500's though. Just leveled my cousin's 3500 on 35's and it's nearly as high as mine with roughly 5" of lift on 35's.

Does the 2500 package have the console though? That's a big thing I love about my truck. Next time around I feel like I'll be after a 2500 regardless.

The console on the floor up front? You can get that if you have the manual transfer case only I think. I don't miss not having it though, I tend to drive with my right leg cocked out to the side and my knee always hits that stuff. It's nice having that room now in the truck.

Yeah, the big console like in my sport. On the 2010 its where the auto shifter is. It's a huge console and I like that option. I hear you can put them in about any Ram though. I could probably do with out it, lol.

Hey Will, you're truck is a crew cab/standard bed correct? I looked up that part number for the magnaflow and a 15333 fits a crew cab/long bed.. how did you manage to get it to fit yours? I would like to get that kit for mine.
