I love how these bars look, but a friend of mine thinks they stick out to far. He says they not supposed to stick out further then the tire. Mine may be 2-4 inches out further then the wheels.

I think they look great. And it's your truck, as long as you are happy where they are, not much else matters.

Definitely should stick out. I think they look great, my 6" ovals stick out as well and I wouldn't want it any other way.
