Well, after having a baby 3 weeks ago, I have decided to return the 4 door back to stock to make it a quiet and comfortable family vehicle. That said, yesterday I picked up a 2011 RC/SB Express to turn into the new drag truck. Truck came with a McGaughys 2/4 drop, but is otherwise stock. Today, I swapped out the 3.55 open diff ZF axle for an older 9.25 axle with a Detroit Trutrac and 4.10 gears. Later this week, I will be installing the basic boltons...Intake, throttle body, catch can, 170* thermostat, efan, and tuner. I have already sent the ARH 1 7/8" headers off to be ceramic coated, and will be talking to Edge tomorrow about building a 3600 stall converter. This truck will be getting a forged 6.4 392" motor with a Dragpack intake and a Nitrous Outlet Puck system. I'm planning to hit this thing with a 300-400 shot of nitrous if the suspension and tires will take it. I'm sure it will take a month or 2 to get the motor together, so stay tuned. Here are a few pics of the 2 trucks together, and a couple during the axle swap.
And a quick video to make sure the trutrac is working
