I posted the short answer to whether they work in the "What did you do today" thread, but I'll get a bit more in detail here for you.

In short, some of them work, some of them are more trouble than they're worth. I have the Eastwood here at the house and it works, but it's actually more of a pain than it's worth, I've went back to doing them manually because it's just easier for me since I've done so many over the years and can do them faster by hand with just as good results.

The cheaper tools, well...... I haven't had a bit of luck with them. They typically won't hold the tension against the fender lip in a constant manner and I've thrown them on numerous occasions. Whether that one will work for you is a toss up. Sometimes they do, sometimes they're just irritating.

I prefer a baseball bat and some elbow grease.

I tried it today & didn't work - the tool didn't fit my bolt pattern.

Also had my rear winter tires put on today - & they are the *****, I cant spin my tires on pavement anymore, I guess the wanglers are just :yucky:

So my Bro gave me a 30mm Autocannon Shell.
First pic is how I got it, second is cleaned.
& did decide to mod it on to the shift lever & will put the tow button on the dash & at the same time, im going to disable the chip key sensor.

Installed the shifter & immobilizer - So no more $100 keys :favorites13:

& for the ones not following what im doing - I did the mod to the immobilizer so I could install a remote starter.

& the tow button is installed where the lighter was on the dash & I added the end of a 45 Auto bullet cartridge - see pics.

Took the track off to measure mounting holes & see if I can make the power tracks fit.

the wires left are for lumbar & heat.
the switches for the heat are in the center console - which I have too.

Ok - almost 1 seat in, still need to put a plate in back, maybe angle iron.

& power for the seat will go to a 12 power outlet (so It can be pluged in when needed), just need a good 12v plug & good gauge wire, I have a plug from something but the wire is this sh*t.

Installed the drivers seat, with power.
The seats sit lower even with the seat all the way up - will have to get use to.
But easier to get in the truck & that's why I lowered the truck to start with.

Took it for a drive & it feels like a diff truck now, seats are way better.
& leather is slippery - should not have used cleaner & conditioner on the seats.

The wiring for the pass seat is done, I cut the end off an old cheap air compressor, so I could pug the seat in when needed.
