Thought id start one of these for my truck. won't be adding or doing as much as some others though..

bought my truck in july 2015
its a 2015 RAM quad cab hemi 8 speed transmission. 3.21 gears 4x4

-heated seats and wheel
-front and rear park sensors and backup camera
- 8.4a radio... ( i added navigation to it a few months after buying.)
-7 inch EVIC
-20 inch tires

heres some pictures the day i brought it home.

i did my first oil change at around 5k miles. put pennzoil platinum synthetic in it.

the oil filter was a pain in the ass to get off. cut it open to see how it looked. factory molar oil filter.

at about 10k i changed oil again using the pennzoil program i got free ultra platinum oil and free test from blackstone labs

also at about 10k i took my oil filter off and switched to a drop in K&N filter


this is the old one that came in the truck

Changed oil again yesterday. this time at about 4500 miles. oil life was 33% 3k miles of that was pulling the trailer. 19351 miles on the truck

I should have gotten a specialty color like that. That color is awesome, very nice truck. I know you said you didn't plan on modding as much as other, but have any plans?

thanks it is a nice color indeed. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. I was surprised to learn that they don't have this color option for 2016...

I like to keep it pretty stock... just preference. i did switch from he standard filter to a K&N drop filter... my truck didn't have a break control for towing so i had dodge had the factory break controller... its definitely a lot nicer than the aftermarket ones that you screw under the dash. I might add factory towing mirrors. right now I'm just using some extended slip on mirrors made to fit dodge. picked them up at camping world for 70 bucks i think...

received my second set of oil from pennzoil.. will be excited to see the old test because i have been towing a whole lot.

thank you. I'm hoping for around 200- 220 thousand miles.. i drive about 30k a year miles... now about 20-25k of that 30k will be towing miles... i don't worry abut the engine so much as the transmission.
