Well guys I finally bought a new truck yesterday, 2017 White RAM 1500 night edition crew cab 4x4. My last Ram was a regular cab express so this is a huge improvement for me lol. This one had 3.92 gears, limited slip, pushbutton start, leather and no sunroof, just what I wanted.
My first mod was to cut down the factory silver antenna to approx. 15" long and paint it black.

Thanks, yes 6" lift is the plan so far, getting Amp powersteps installed tomorrow

I like the way you think. I wanted either black on black or black on white, with black on red as last resort. Ended up finding a deal on a black truck. Really looking forward to seeing you touch up the loose ends with black and put that lift on. Really nice truck!

Can you detail how you cut the antenna?
Would love to give it a shot and has it affected radio reception ?

Thanks, are you referring to the RAM on the tailgate?.....that's one of my favorite things about the night package.
