New guy & new truck! 2014 Sport

Hey guys, just picked up my new truck this morning from my local dealer. Very excited about it! I have been lurking around on here and checking out dealer lots for a couple months now, trying to get a feel for which truck I was going to choose. It was fairly easy, I knew it was going to be a Ram or a Ford. For the price and what a fully loaded FX4 had to offer, the choice was clear, the Ram 1500 Sport was hands down a better looking truck, better riding truck and overall a nicer package than the Ford, not to mention was cheaper even before my discounts. Between current incentives and discounts because of where I work, i ended up saving close to 13k off the sticker!

Now, after test driving a couple different trims, and being a pest at the dealership finding out all the info I could, I was able to pick a fully loaded Sport, and luckily in the color I wanted, which was white. I absolutely love this truck, I have never been so excited for a truck before. This is also my first brand new vehicle as well, pretty pumped about that too!

Here is a list of upgrades it came with (from what I remember)

- 5.7L Hemi
- 8 speed transmission
- 5.7ft box
- Mopar trifold soft tonneau cover
- front/rear park assist
- 8.4n control panel
- front and rear defrost

I'm sure I am forgetting more stuff. I am also waiting on a pair of running boards that the dealer needs to order for me as well.

Yup it was, good eye

When I picked it up this morning it had been washed and was nice and clean for me. Too bad the roads are wet and full of slush.

Now, as far as options go I know that the only ones I don't have are proximity system, air ride suspension, rambox and push button start. Are there any other options I don't have?

Overall, I am very happy with the truck. I can't wait to get my side steps, and level out the truck, then eventually new wheels and tires.

Mine also came with the automatic high beams. You turn them on then forget about it. They automatically pick up headlights coming toward you and shut off automatically. Then come back on after the car passes.

I wonder if I have those as well. I'll have to try next time I'm on the highway.

To be honest, I really liked the red on these trucks. It was between white and red but my wife just got a new suv and it's red so I went with the white

I was going to get this upgrade... But the other drivers in my area are so polite. They flash their lights at me and kindly honk their horn at me as they go by.
