Figured I'd start a post to keep up with all the stuff I've done doing, and plan to do to this thing.

Here is the Day I brought her home.

AuburnDodge.jpg

Needs a little work in this photo, front grill emblem needs to be recoated, and faded antenna mount... which I still have yet to do over a year later

Won the bracket at Sac Raceway the first time I took her to the track to get a base line time bone stock of 14.62.. I'll have to find the time slip at home Ran between a 14.62 and 14.68 the whole night. I think I made a total of 5 or 6 passes, have to say she is very consistent. Hadn't been to the strip in 15 years so the guys lumped me in with the beginners and then kept saying I was the ringer that night.

Not much, just research. Never heard back from a few places I have contacted about parts. Need to look up a contact a member here shared with me. I was talking to a guy at Summit that turned me on to a company that builds conversion bell housings for a Mercedes trans of some sort for challengers and chargers (cant remember the tranny) but figured it may be a good start for the T56 out of a SRT-10. He also suggested just using one out a a challenger, so I may go that route. just need to see if the shifter from a srt-10 will go into a Challenger unit before I go drop 4-6k for a tranny that wont fit. I may be able to borrow a bellhousing from a challenger... Its just hard to get detailed info on bolting, shaft lengths and what not from people.

But step one is getting the tractor out to my house in the next few weeks to break ground and get concrete poured on the shop at my house.

But once that happens then its on. Still have to buy a Jeep too for my daily before I can tear apart the R/T for weeks on end.

Everything takes time man. And lots of patience. And it sounds like yours will be getting stretched thin with this project. Good luck man.

Playing around with the trinity, prior to loading the Hemifever tune.
This pic was really only impressive with the reaction time.

Edit: This isn't an exact time since these aren't 100% accurate and I haven't had the time to hit the track or its been raining.

Since then I have played around with it and gotten it down from a 14.62 to a 14.24 with way way WAY to much wheels spin at launch.. and if you feather the throttle I lose more time between 2nd and third. Still trying to figure it out but slicks are definitely needed to get below the 14's.

Nah, I'm a patient guy... Its finding the time to install all this stuff that's the hard part. I'll get to that part when I post those picks of the pile O parts on my workbench yet to be installed.

I have been documenting alot and planning out alot using one of Stacy Davids "project Build Books" helps to keep things straight and notes and what not... I know this is a long time research before building it.
I design large buildings that we spend months sometimes years before construction happens. I'm used to this kinda thing.

Little bit of corrective surgery from what the dealer I bought the truck from took off the truck..

Added a BT panhard bar the Matt at Moes shipped out to me :waytogo: :happy107:

Took off the Hellwig Bar to give it a matching coat of paint to the Spohn bar and Belltech endlinks (which will be coming off and replaced, don't like them)
