I just put my new 2013ish oem headlights in this weekend with HID kits.
Passenger side was difficult because I had to cut the tabs off my old headlight and plastic weld them onto the new headlight because they were broken off. Turned out alright time will tell how it holds up but was cheap enough I thought it was worth a shot.
Here is the after pics.
I don't plan on keeping the chrome bumpers or the non color matched black plastic under the headlights.
Here are the preliminary plans
Bumpers-
Front sport color matched with color matched grill from 2013+
Rear Off road bumper probably not color matched. Not sure manufacturer yet
I'm going to get rid of the oem steps for some rock sliders hopefully.
Rims tires short term probably some 35" MT's on my stock 20's
Longer term 18" wider rims with still 35's
Probably won't lift though I love the lifted look. I work out of it and it gets hard to reach over the side when it is too much higher than stock.
Exhaust changing to dual exhaust out the bumper like stock rams but not stock exhaust.
Engine wise probably start with intake move on to headers and possibly a cam and tune.

Wow congrats on that, from the pictures it looks awesome. How is it tired into the sound system?
