Lift, wheels and flares done today.

A lot more to do tomorrow that will continue to completely change my truck.


**** The rear seems lower than the front because of the weight in the bed of the truck is around 300 pounds, or more, so it’s sagging a little bit. Should even out once the springs and struts settle and I remove the stuff from the bed. ****

Wow you’re right I just went out and looked. I did not install the lift kit, a shop did. I’m gonna be there first thing tomorrow morning flipping out.

It’s commonly overlooked one of the reasons I opened a suspension shop. I had a shop do my lift and ended up re doing the entire lift in my driveway. A year and change later I opened a shop dedicated to lift kits wheels and tires. Just got tired of fixing all my friends trucks after they went to reputable shops.

I mean how do you install a shock upside down? Seems pretty common sense to me. I wasn’t paying enough attention when I took the pic but once you pointed it out I realized it is indeed upside down.

When it’s the same mounting styles on both sides is easy to make the mistake although it’s always written in the instructions. Your ride will improve when they are installed correctly

Got the Tyger Star Armor side steps / rails installed today. Not a simple bolt on lol but I got it done and they look amazing.

My trucks transformation continues with more mods waiting to go on:

- Remove Hood + Bedside Vinyls
- Remove all badges
- Remove rear window stickers
- Full Detail Cut & Polish Paint Correction
- Apply new rear bed graphics
- Apply new stickers from recent purchases (Fox, MaxTrac, Carven, etc)
- Install new replacement grille lights
- Install new 2019 OEM Ram 1500 red/black badges
- Install new front bumper with new paint
- install BakFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover
- Install new Antenna base mount

There’s more that I am forgetting... there’s just boxes of stuff everywhere at this point, falling all over my house.

Your Truck looks Great, Is your Highway Dept. using sand in the winter or are they using a Mix of Magnesium Chloride hopefully not, Two winters up here would destroy it.

They use massive overkill amounts of gigantic rock salt chunks. Like gumball sized chunks of rock salt. Nothing I can do about it except wash my truck and it’s undercarriage after every storm. Atleast with my new lift it will be a lot easier to wash the undercarriage.
