I drive a lot, and tow often. So I wanted an ecodiesel truck ever since they first announced them.

So I bought a Tradesman, since it had the biggest discount and saved big bucks over buying a Big Horn.

I've since spent a lot of that money on upgrades.

Tow Hooks - PC'd red
All black emblems
8.4N system w/ mirror, harness, and VR buttons for phone calls
Kicker dash speakers
wrapped steering wheel with leather
steering wheel controls
OPT7 LED low beams
Weathertech mats (thanks wife)
Truxedo roll up tonneau cover
Ram Rebel Wheels w/ Mickey Thompson 33's (I am also a big fan of the Ram Rebel)
Deleted muffler
Intake baffle deleted
Stubby antenna
Window visors and Hood air deflector
Tinted front windows

Purchased but not installed yet:
Mopar heavy duty mud flaps
LED High beams

Lots more planned for the future...

Love this truck!!!

After adding all that what do you think difference in price was? Would you buy tradesman over the Big Horn if you did it again?

I've probably spent $2500-$3000 in upgrades. The bighorn would have been about $7000 more. I like my truck a lot, and I would do the same thing again. I like the bighorns, but I prefer black over chrome. With the money I spent, I got features I wanted from the bighorn, and a lot more. Most importantly I didn't pay extra for features I didn't want - all the chrome, badges, fancier bumpers and grill, etc. I would have still wanted to upgrade the wheels if I bought the bighorn.

And I can do a lot more upgrades and still have spent less than I would have on a bighorn.
