UNBROKEN's 2014 CCSB build thread....starting over fresh

This will be a mild build but I think it'll make a nice, clean daily driver and get me back some of the room I gave up with the R/T.
I put a deposit on this last week. I'm away on business and plan to pick it up next week when I get home.



All of these parts are ordered and either in transit or waiting on me to pick up.
Polished SRT10 reps...I think they'll look nice on the white. Black wheels are way overdone on white trucks IMHO. I also don't plan to tie up 5 figure in wheels and brakes again.



I also decided to break from my Pirelli tradition and try the Toyo Proxes ST 2 in a 305/40/22



Gonna try the Bell Tech 2/4 kit this time.



Hellwig bars front and rear...all of my trucks get these right away.



I wanted a little noise and the 5" tips so the Magnaflow 16869 kit s going on.



Just to clean up under the hood a little bit I'm throwing on the S&B intake.



And a Billet tech catch can....all black. I'll be adding a Trinity after a few hundred break in miles so I can kill the MDS and speed limiter.

I also ordered a Bedrug today as well as a Snuglid hard tonneau cover. Those 2 things also go on all my trucks. The good old 3M Eraser Wheel will get a workout on the door badges, the tailgate badge will be shaved and the gate handle color matched.

That will probably wrap up the external mods. I'm planning the stereo now....leaning towards an all Mosconi and Illusion Audio build but things change so who knows.

I'll update this when I get home. I plan to pick up the truck, drive it home and it won't leave the driveway again until everything is installed minus the tonneau since it's weeks out on order.

Did you order your Snuglid locally or online?

Locally...same place in Houston I always use. They just happened to have already ordered what I need for stock...so I paid for it and they can order another one for stock.

That's the truck I wanted to get but the budget didn't allow. Can't wait to see progress!

Another question. .. why go with the magnaflow kit online? Instead of a custom exhaust from a shop? The shop I use quoted me around 300-350 for a MF 14 and custom pipes...

You're going to love the magnaflow. I sure love mine! Looks like a good start, I can't wait to see it all on the truck.

I'm still waiting to see if this get's followed up on. Getting a real 4 link under a 4th Gen Ram

Because that $350 is for crimp bent piping. I don't do crimp bent piping. My R/T is true dual mandrel bent stainless with high flow cats, dual Magnaflows and an X-pipe. $350 wouldn't even buy the parts, much less the piping and labor. I also have no desire for the loud 14" muffler. I like this kit...it's my 2nd time to use it.

It's definitely a good kit...that's why I'm using it again.

I followed up on that everywhere I thought. I know I posted a quick summary of it here in the 4th Gen Lowered forum.

Good luck man, I cant wait to see what you do! I agree with the rim comment, its why I left my stockers on for now until I find the right polished ones to go with. Who knows how it will end though....
