Well I was thinking I should post a build thread of my 2wd I am lifting in a week . So for all 2wd guys ill post pics and part numbers I use in case any one eles wants a small budget lift for your 2wd .

Mods so far

Painted to match handles and mirror caps
Custom Painted grille
35x12.5 nittos
Level 8 Tracker wheels 17x8.5

Next mods

Slt bumper swap
3" Front spindle lift
1" rear spacer
Rancho shocks front and back
Cst brake lines

35s stock with a slight rub while turnning

Slt bumper painted to match

I just like the look of the slt bumper on a lifted truck better . To me the sport looks huge on a lifted truck . After seeing your painted bumper set up I was sold on that look , looks more tuff I guess you can say.

Its a ebay 2006 to 2008 spindle , I know a few people that used them with out issues . The rumor is they dont push you front wheels out like the cst so thats why I got a set . Well see ....

You should be able to sell off the sport bumper for some nice $$!

I wanna swap a 2500 front bumper onto mine if I go the lifted route.
For now, it's going to stay pretty boring and stock. :-(

Well I did a traded with a guy that has a white slt today , swap was easy.... My qustion for you is how the heck did you get the bolts off the chrome bumper back brackets? Theres 6 per a side and I cant get a single one off . Trying to swap the chrome slt for my painted and what a pain in the $$$$$$

impact. LOL

When we swapped my chrome out for my painted (steel) bumper - did that swap at my painters. Just grabbed the impact and they all came right off. no biggy.

I dont have a impact so thats my problem .....Might have find a diffrent kind of bolt. Driving around with no bumper till I can fix this lol

Just need more leverage , try sliding a piece of pipe over the ratchet wrench handle to extend the handle giving you more leverage.
