She bought the truck off her dad a month or two after we started "dating". He was offered $9600 for trade on a 2009 2500, she offered him $9601.
124k miles at the time and plenty of dings dents and rust from being a farm/work truck. (July 2009)
First investment was 35x12.5x17 mastercraft courser ct (september 2009)
I got her a 60" rampage light bar for her birthday
For our one year anniversary I got her an HBS 2" leveling kit, for her birthday i installed it and also straight piped her exhaust. She bought 1.75" wheel spacers and a set of 3ft dual whips, I had a uniden 510xl radio I found in my garage. How it sat as of September 2010
Christmas 2010 I put together an air horn kit. Can't afford a compressor yet so I just picked up a craftsman portable tank, a set of dual trumpet horns, some fittings, a relay, fuse and momentary switch. Less then $75 bucks and...
A piece of one of my broken hockey sticks for a mount=no extra holes
Relay and inline fuse
With the leveling kit and 145k miles on the stock shocks it road like a lumber wagon. Installed a set of pro comp es9000 shocks, made the mistake of telling her she could get pink shock boots (July 2011)
With a the help of my brother and friend I also started to tackle some of the body work on the truck if you haven't noticed most of the pictures are of the drivers side cause...)
My buddy forgot his stud gun at work so the door and back corner are still on the list
That same day
Some of you may have seen this in Jim's fantasy graphic thread
The passenger side took a little longer to get cleaned up and bed linered
While I was waiting bed linering her pocket flares I tinted her cab lights
Her truck her bike
Finally got her flares on and before our first snowfall
